Owen County 65 Walton-Verona 58 (8th Region All "A" Classic Championship)

Featured Replies

Congrats to the Rebels.

Sawyer Williams scored his 1000th point and was also named the tourney's Most Valuable Player.

Congrats to Owen hope they do well representing the 8th region. They are a very good basketball team.

8th grader Carson Williams (younger brother of Sawyer) made all-tournament team. Great minutes and some huge rebounds to help Owen win.

Owen County is a good team. I am sure that they will represent well. The only thing that could hurt them is foul trouble. They do not have a good bench, only one player can come in and compete at a high level and that is the younger Williams.

Congrats to Owen Co. :thumb: Anybody have a link to a box score? Good luck in the state in Richmond.

Congrats to Owen on a nice win. They were the best team tonight. Hope you guys do well at the All A State. Also, congrats to Sawyer on your accomplishment, he is a very nice player.

Hope Owen Co gets the memo that All A State is in Frankfort this year. Hard to represent the 8th Region well in the wrong city. Bwahaha!

I guess BOK didn't get the memo.

Don't go to all A tourney, niether will Walton this year....... Like I said on the other thread, Owen and Gallitan should have been the finals, oh well still have the BIG tourney.

Great game tonight. Congrats to Owen on the win and they will represent the 8th well.

Maybe you should go but remember it's in Frankfort. Just because they are All A schools doesn't mean they can't play ball. Tonight was a very good game by two teams playing their hearts out for a chance to go to Frankfort. You might want to use spell check for "neither" and "Gallatin". :thumb:

Darn those blind draws. The tournament was pointless I guess. Owen and Gallatin should've just played cause well apparently they were the only two teams worthy of the 8th Region All A crown. It's hard to take someone seriously that "doesn't care for All A basketball" B.O.K thanks for the private message. You made it worth the $20 in one night!

B.O.K.'s postings are worth the price of admission!

Bok is an idiot and when sk chokes again in regions like they did since they came to the 8th region and talked about how inferior it was he will have nothing to say. Because in all reality you have just as many region championships as all the a schools do since you came here. So how about a little prospective before you run it like you do it gets old. Burn!

Once again classless as always and can't use a spell checker either.:lol:
