Maybe the word melee would be more satisfactory. What would have been the outcome if both coaches and teams exchange fist instead of handshakes?

I like the way the Green County players keep shaking hands and pretend there is no mad, ranting, jumping , dancing head coach on the field . Got to give the Green County kids credit for holding their composure versus their head coach.

So you still think homosexuality is sinful?
dynamite-tnt replied to theguru's topic in Controversial Issues
Is homosexuality a genetic mutation? In regard to the theory of evolution would not a so called homosexuality gene cease to express itself because homosexuals cannot procreate? Except in rare occurrences it might express itself . Is it a result of enviromental factors ? For example the fetus in the womb might be expose to some chemical or process foods the mother has ingested that would lower hormone levels to the developing male or female fetus. What about the use of plastic that contains bpa ( Bisphenol A) ? Studies indicated the chemical can cause changes to the hippocampus , the limbic system of the brain. Can argue that homosexuality has existed for thousand of years and there is historical evidence before these modern chemicals were develop. I could be very wrong , but I think during the development of the fetus exposure to hormones be it not enough or to much , chemicals, body temps, viruses, and other unknown factors the fetus is expose to may be the root cause of homosexuality tendencies. It is not a lifestyle I would choose because I have no such emotions. I like the opposite sex . " I've looked on many women with lust. I've committed adultery in my heart many times. God knows I will do this and forgives me.” President Jimmy Carter. -

dynamite-tnt replied to All Tell's topic in Kentucky / National Politics
He was attacked by the media in the 40's for his remarks and thoughts about politics, arabs, jews, germans, french, english, christians, russians, and other groups of the human race. I would not expect any different reaction in 2012 vs 1940's to any of his thoughts or quotes. -

dynamite-tnt replied to All Tell's topic in Kentucky / National Politics
I always thought General Patton's quote on islam explain the middle east situation very well. “It seems to me a certainty that the fatalistic teachings of Mohammed and the utter degradation of the Arab women are the outstanding causes for the arrested development of the Arab. He is exactly as he was around the year 700, while we have been developing.” General Patton -

No way, I thought it was the blue moon that was shining that night. lol Really Warren East is a very good team and out played Monroe on both sides of the ball . Monroe was not at their top level of play that night. Nothing more nothing less. -

It would be nice to have another shot at east. The Warren East game was Monroe's worst performance of all season so far .. -
Kentucky Class 3A Football Rankings for 10-1
dynamite-tnt replied to theguru's topic in KY Football (High School)
Wayne County's offensive line keep and hit their assigments. Some of the best blocking I have seen in high school football. I hate to admit it, I must rank Wayne county above Monroe because of their offensive line.- 12 replies

3A #8 Monroe County/ 3A #10 South Warren Predictions
dynamite-tnt replied to tsyoung7's topic in KY Football (High School)
I am going with Monroe 36 South Warren 28. Wilson and Hodges will be ready to play ..........Also................ Monroe has other excellant young men who can make the big defensive plays such as Huff #21 , Bryant #39, DTs Glover , Williams, Nelson. London has been playing good secondary defense. It will not be easy for South Warren. -

Monroe's defense will need to shutdown Glasgow's big offensive line and stop their speed in backfield to win. -
Monroe County/ Franklin Simpson Predictions
dynamite-tnt replied to tsyoung7's topic in KY Football (High School)
Franklin still has some speed in the backfield. If I am not wrong Franklin has a couple of young sophomores who's last names are Wickwares. They have speed and are related to last year's speedy senior teammates Darius and Jerrell Wickware. Franklin may not be as strong as last year, but they reach the 2011 championship game in 4a which gave their juniors and underclassmen some good experience. Monroe will need to play a perfect game to win. -

Leather Helmets As Effective as Today's Helmets????
dynamite-tnt replied to Clyde's topic in KY Football (High School)
My Dad played college ball in the late 40's and eary 50's. Dad had used the leather helmet for 3 yrs . He was one the first players to get a suspension plastic helmet because his head was huge and the leather helmets were too small. He always said that head injuries and knee injuries increased as a result of the hardshell helmet. Dad said the helmet had become a weapon on the field. -
Edmonson County/Monroe County updates

Interesting call. Did the ref injure her knee? Radio host stated that the ref was pointing to her knee when the refs were discussing the flag she threw after the collision. I want to see the video clip of that. -
Glasgow vs. Green County Predictions

Green County by 2 tds. -
Glasgow's win surprized me. What about Somerset's offense ? Glasgow's secondary must have really kick it up a notch after they played Monroe.
-
I'm not sure about Glasgow at #3. Their defense let Monroe have 28 points. Glasgow held Allen scoreless, but Allen has no offense to speak of. Glasgow's defense has not play against a strong offense with multiple threats.
