Disagree..Bardstown should be in there somewhere and Desales doesn't deserve to be in at this point. I think you could also make a case for Murray, ahead of Wash Co or Cov H Cross, but, that'd be a close call..

It sure should be. Probably one of the better games in the state. It might tell us more about Glasgow than Somerset, however. Most believe the Jumpers are definitely among the elite in 2A. There is still some skepticism about Glasgow, coming off their first round flame-out last year and their lack of a real marquee win this year (I don't count Allen County and Monroe County as marquee this season, although they typically both have nice teams).

Disagree..Bardstown should be in there somewhere and Desales doesn't deserve to be in at this point.

 

My only problem with Bardstown is that they have beat four dogs. Spencer, Bethlehem, Nelson, and Elizabethtown have a combined record of 2-18. DeSales might not have a pretty record but they've lost to 6A #10 Central Hardin (3-1), 3A #1 Central (3-1), and 6A #7 PRP (4-1) by an average of two touchdowns, while also beating 1A #4 Louisville Holy Cross.

 

I would argue that Bardstown should be on the list, but likely around #10, below DeSales. The best part of this argument is that those two will play each other next month, maybe for a district title.

I'm not sure about Glasgow at #3. Their defense let Monroe have 28 points. Glasgow held Allen scoreless, but Allen has no offense to speak of. Glasgow's defense has not play against a strong offense with multiple threats.
