Will Walters be the lead "go-to" offensive player? Is Kevin Centers the best guard on the team, who will be looked to for scoring from the perimeter?

Will this Cooper team still be able to lock down in D? I know Sullivan loves the defense. Tough, hard nosed kids.

Spencer is solid. Played an important role for Cooper last year. I’m not sold on houston. Aau is a different animal. Was really good at Holy Cross, and had some issues last year. Hope to see him bounce back.

She is one of the best females I’ve seen play. Sidney Moss several years ago was also super talented. Scherr is really good.

Any word on Pendleton this year? Seems like the boys always have decent talent, even outside of Allen.

Davey saw the writing on the wall. Decent group of seniors graduated. Best player heads to Scott. New coach will have her hands full.

Are they a “lock” for the 9th region All A state bid? This team is tough, well coached, and has one of the best players in the region.

Playing a CCH and getting blown out (like most NKY schools do) is not better for your schedule than playing a legitimate competitive game that can teach you something about your team.

Will any team in NKy be able to compete with CCH? In years past it’s only been Cooper. Is this year a foregone conclusion?

Who are the leaders on this team? Has the well of talent dried up? Can not believe there isn’t more to this thread. I know NCC has young men that can play. Jefferson, Kremer, and young Ross Pangallo. How will they fare?

Beechwood has a sophomore. Curly hair. Shooter. Plays hard & smart. Kind of a thinner kid. I really liked his game on JV last year. Anyone have a name?? He should help add varsity depth this year.

Yes he is! Very versatile and talented young man. But, offers during the HS season? You don’t tend to see too much of that considering most college coaches are traveling, prepping, scouting, coaching, etc. I do agree that his offers will come. Probably the 3rd best sophomore in the area with Draud & Neace.

Woww. Does the talent level match the size?? I know Walters, Deere, and Centers can play. Where will the scoring come from? This team seems to be built very different than the teams of the past.

Dixie lost Cody, Szabo, and one other, correct?? Could they have a down year?? Shumate and Jabari Karim shouldtake the reigns for this team. Both a nice players.

As Sisson goes, so will go highlands. I believe they’ll be competitive all season, but they’ll need Big Ben to make a run. He is very strong inside,and the young man is a leader. Highlands guards are strong and experienced. All of these kids will play hard. Could be Listermans best year as a Bluebird.

Can Carr turn this program around? I believe so. But, the talent in Covington seems to be down in the last 5 years. When your up for so long, you’re bound to have a few down years. It seems like the talent may be back on the rise, and Carr takes over just in time.

I agree with this. Newport, Beechwood, Highlands, and Pendleton are all good sufficient games for the Mustangs. I assume people want them to either play heavy hitters like CCH/Cooper or go around the state more. Silliness. Code will have them ready no matter who they play.

We all know about Allen. If Sullivan can hit shots and they can rebound they should be pretty tough. Belcher will get the most of what he has.
