What does Cooper need to do to be successful in the 2018/2019 season? Please be constructive.

Does anyone know the roster for the Jags?

Does anyone know the roster for the Jags?

This year's roster hasn't been posted yet, and without knowing for certain who all will still be suiting up, here are the Sophomores and Juniors from last season's team....

Blaine Walters G, Sr

Josh Baker F, G - Sr

Jaidon David G - Sr

Caleb Hampton F, G - Sr

Ty Houston G - Sr

Kameron Moore F, G - Sr

Alex Oilier G - Sr

Kevin Centers G - Jr

Zac Jennings F - Jr

Jacob Liechty G - Jr

Gavin Pearson G, - Jr

Jaxon Rollins G, Jr

Michael Spencer F, Jr

It's also safe to say that there will be handful of new Sophomores this year from last season's Freshman team filling out the squad.

This is so incomplete and speculative at best, but hopefully helpful to some degree as a starting point.

Did Michael Spencer hold back at some point? He was a Sophomore at Cov Cath 2 years ago right?

This list is incorrect as he is a Sr. this year. However he technically, by age, should be a Jr. as he started school early as a youngster.

You are correct as Cooper's roster for last season has Spencer listed as a Jr., making him a Sr. this season. I goofed when I made my list. Hopefully I didn't list anything else here incorrectly. :banghead:

Cooper has some nice length this year Spencer 6’5”

Walters 6’5”

Deere 6’5”

Baker 6’7”ish

Houston 6’4”

Centers 6’2”

Can’t wait to see these boys on the court!! Should be fun season in the ninth once again. Great talent spread around in NKY.

Woww. Does the talent level match the size?? I know Walters, Deere, and Centers can play. Where will the scoring come from? This team seems to be built very different than the teams of the past.

Houston coming off a great AAU season the kid can play.

Spencer not many kids I seen with his size and strength that can handle the ball and shoot really well.

Baker has gotten a ton better and is playing a lot more physical. Should be a force down low!

They could easily have 5-6 kids average double digits in scoring

Spencer is solid. Played an important role for Cooper last year. I’m not sold on houston. Aau is a different animal. Was really good at Holy Cross, and had some issues last year. Hope to see him bounce back.

Will this Cooper team still be able to lock down in D? I know Sullivan loves the defense. Tough, hard nosed kids.

I think Sullivan will have his guys ready to play defense and if they won’t play defense he’ll have a place ready on the bench for them that’s for sure.

Zac Jennings is another tall one. 6’3”, I would say.
