What does Holmes need to do to be successful in the 2018/2019 season? Please be constructive.

Hoping they can turn things around under the new head coach. They haven't been down state in something like 5 years. Also haven't even made it out of their district in the last 3.

I heard Carr is toughing them up.

Looking forward to seeing the style Coach Carr will be implementing this year. Holmes lost a bunch of seniors last year and only return one kid with extensive varsity experience in Tico Pouncy.

I would expect a fun style of play with a lot kids playing.

Carr will get those kids together. They are probably a year away from going back to the region tournament but they will surprise some teams.

Brad develops talent give him a few years. He will have a 2nd grade bulldog program soon I’ll bet.

Attended their version of "Midnight Madness" yesterday evening. I think what stood out the most (taking into account it was exhibition) is that they have a couple long range shooters and their dunk contest was a thing of beauty. They had a sophomore win it. They look like they have some length, height, and youth. I think Coach Carr may have them back on the road to right sooner rather than later. Tough region (9) to get it right though.

Forget the region, the district alone is tough to get it right.

Holmes looked pretty good in their scrimmage tonight. One thing for sure, this team will press and run, Coach Carr played everyone and called time out a few times just to walk on the floor to show a player where he was supposed to be. Not sure how many wins and losses this team will end up with, but they are going to be fun to watch.

Who are the top 3 players going to be for this young Holmes team?

 

Pouncey is going to be one of them, I assume.

Demario Foster ,Tez and Tay Calloway. Demario will be a big name this year.
