Holmes looked pretty good in their scrimmage tonight. One thing for sure, this team will press and run, Coach Carr played everyone and called time out a few times just to walk on the floor to show a player where he was supposed to be. Not sure how many wins and losses this team will end up with, but they are going to be fun to watch.

 

Sorry but I have a hard time taking that much good from a scrimmage against a bad Ludlow team that lost 2 of their top 3 players off a 6-21 season. Holmes will play hard but lack of experience and scoring will be hard to overcome.

Compete...yes. I think Holmes is definitely able to compete the problem will be if they can score enough to win.

Holmes is young but I think they are going to surprise a lot of people. I think Holmes is a few years away but they will catch some teams off guard this year.

Holmes can def compete with both Beechwood and Holy Cross. They will likely beat HC at least once and have a chance of beating Beechwood.

The 9th is better when Holmes is at or near the top.

There’s no one at Holmes that fits that description. Last year they had 9 seniors and only 1 junior played and that was the little guard Pouncy.

The only one I can think of is Damerio Foster, number 35, he is around 6,4"" and played receiver on the football team. Detrieck Dozier should have a nice year for Holmes, he had 16 points in the scrimmage game and is a strong rebounder.
