This is not a big shock. Numbers are extremely low and talented players don't want to stay in the district. Somebody will take the job and do a great job but it will take some work.

With practice scheduled to began in 12 days, did Newport hire a coach yet?

Any update here? Today's the day.

I was told that Newport has hired a coach. Not sure of the name of the coach but my source says she is a teacher at the school and this is her first Varsity job.

What happened to Davey? He did a great job with the girls the last few years!
