Who plays the toughest schedule in NKY?
Scratch43 replied to UNCLOVER's topic in KY Football (High School)
Boone County has been stripped of a ton of talent with all the other county schools opening and they still play the elite programs in NKY. Why don't they win? HAH! Scheduling. Schedule to their talent/enrollment level and Boone County will have fun again. Cooper's success, used to play at Boone County. Conner's success, used to play at Boone County. Schedule appropriately instead of traditionally. -
Williamsburg 46-41 over Leslie county Logan County 38-0 over Breck. Just posted on KHSAA

These games aren't even listed on KHSAA site unless I just missed them. Clinton County at McCreary Central Trimble County at Switzerland County, IN Caverna at Todd Central Games listed but scores missing: Williamsburg at Leslie County Logan County at Breckenridge County

Looks like Coach Griff has found a home. Like many, I picked The Gator for the win going in. BillNye...pass the bird!

Instead of changing the name, just change the symbol from a Confederate soldier to Colin Kaepernick kneeling with an American Flag waving.

2017 East/West NKY All Star Game
Scratch43 replied to UK#1fanisback's topic in KY Football (High School)
Pendleton and Bracken seemed a stretch to me even as I posted. Seems Grant and W-V would want to be part of it. Thanks for info rjs4470. -
2017 East/West NKY All Star Game
Scratch43 replied to UK#1fanisback's topic in KY Football (High School)
Why aren't these schools included? Bracken County; same district as Brossart. Borders Ohio River, right?. Pendleton County; There's no other 3A school in NKY, right? Borders River and Campbell County, right? Grant County: In same district as CovCath, Dixie and Highlands. This is a NKY District and they should be in. Most consider(well okay; maybe just me) Grant County as the bottom of NKY. Walton-Verona: They're in Boone County; Not Boone County Schools but in Boone County. Just wondering. -

As part of my teacher internship nearly 30 years ago, I was assigned to be an observer at Paducah Tilghman High School. I saw bullying go unabated. I saw teachers turning their backs on rudeness and threats. I don't know Coach Barber. I can't help but wonder, though, maybe this man is a 'stand up' kind of person that maybe we should follow, appreciate and admire his leadership instead of condemning him for it. I know no facts in either situation. Do any of you?

I'll ask again. Where'd the last HFC go? Why did he leave?

Why is it open? Where'd the last HC go?

WOW.

Coach Kevin Wallace; Bowling Green Purples
Scratch43 replied to Purple Nation's topic in KY Football (High School)
I'm not a fan of the Grapes. More precisely; I hate them. Not a fan of Kevin Wallace. He has proven himself to be one HELL OF A COACH! Congratulations to him for all that he has done at BGHS. -
Is there a contact so that he might speak to other teams in The KY...NCKY specifically...or please share mine with him.

High School Field Goal Rule
Scratch43 replied to Hardin County Preps's topic in KY Football (High School)
Where is this written in the rule book? I can't find it. I thought 'all' missed FG attempts were placed at the -20 yard line. I can't find that in the rule book either. Here's my point. My team is backed up to my own 1 yard line. Instead of punting the ball, we line up for a FG and kick it out of bounds. Under the rule that I thought to be true, the ball would be placed on my opponents' -20 yard line. According to the interpretation originating this thread and in macdon's situation with F-S, it's ruled just like a punt. Again; where is it in the rule book so that I know for sure? Thanks and yes, if an opponent is attempting an outrageously long FG attempt, put someone deep to return it.
