It sounds like in past threads that HC has had some players sick all year. Maybe its best not to play and pass it on to other teams. I wouldn't want my team to just know catch whatever it is and run through the team up to the playoffs when you need everyone healthy.

NCC has played or will play No's 2,3,4,5 and 7. That is why when they get to the district they are ready for teams their own size, and do so well.

You are correct. My daughter played in that game along side of Desmond. I was filimg the game and caught all of the action on film before the refs did. They sent my tape to the KHSAA and this is one (if not the main reason she got to play the next game). Holmes coach should have not been aloud to coach again, you could see him telling the girl what to do before she went into the game. One thing to do take Desmond out of the game.

Since schools are closed today will the games be cancelled tonight?

Are the final games going to be broadcast anywhere?

Why don't they combine 2 district into a region and have the top four of the region go to the playoffs. That will give you 7 region games and the three other games for your rival or tune up games. It will also shorten up the playoff season. Some regions might have more than eight teams but i don't think more than 9

Brady is gong to NKU. His knees really took abeaten. Probley shouldn't of played on them since the first injury.

It did get better my senior year we were 4-4-2. Yes way back then you had ties. We even tird for the city championship 14-14. I think that was the first year Newpot didn't have a losing season in about 10 years.

I played in that game (for Newport). I was a Freshman at Newport the score was 100-20. I caught a TD pass my 1st one of the year. I only played the last 4 games on the varsity. Newport was not that good back then as they only had about 20-25 players and that was after they moved 3 players up from the freshman team. Newport also lost to Highlands that year 80-0 and to Holmes 66-6. Newport did have the best QB in the area Mike Shoemaker who went on to Cincinnati on a scholarship and start QB for them.
