I was able to get the names for the new coaches. The new OC is Gary Clark. I was told he previously had OC experience at Reading (OH). The new DC is Dave Pelgin. He was on staff last year and coached before at Bellevue.

Lucas to Bellevue or Eckstein to Lloyd?

Why is this wait so bad? Bellevue does not do any spring practice. So I am sure they are looking toward the June as a deadline. Schools do not have allocations yet, so budgets and staffing are not finalized. Like most small schools, I am sure they want a coach in the building. They can still afford to wait a while.

Congrats to all the players and coaches on a great season. A very special group. 26-1 is fantastic.

The Breds blow a big early lead and a 10 point 4th quarter lead. Freshman Nate Verst sparked the comeback with some outside shooting and a lay up. Way to go Stangs!!

How about Matt Reinhart, Head Coach at Brossart. He has the head coaching experience. Built a program basically from the ground up. Been to the playoffs. Is a Holmes graduate. And as some people pointed out in Brossart threads, is a little rough around the edges. He would fit in nicely down in Covington. I'm sure Holmes is one job that he would consider leaving Brossart for.

Only two candidates considered at this point? Shouldnt they wait to see what jobs they have available? Is the one in the building Clint Bell?

If you dont want to pay for parking. You could always park at kroger or one of the apartment complexes and walk to Regents. There, problem solved. You get to see the game and not have to pay for parking.

It also gives the players a chance to play on a college floor in a very nice arena. This is a thrill for a lot of the players. They'll play if your there or not. So don't go. The players will still have a great time.

I was at the game. I would have to agree with Mustang. After the CC coach was riding the officials pretty hard, calls seem to go the Camels way.

I only wish my parents would have started me later. I have a November birthday. They started me in school at 4 years old. I was 16 when I started my senior year and then turned 17, three months in. Not to mention, I was a bit of a late bloomer. Athletically, I was always a little behind all my peers. :cry:

Would Dan Wagner from NewCath be a good fit? I beleive he works for Campbell Co. Schools. Although he stayed on at NewCath after being passed over for Eviston, I am sure he knows he has hit the ceiling there. After winning another state championship, it would be a good time to move on.

Brossart beats highlands 49-42

I am looking forward to this game. Hopefully, the Birds can come in at full strength. I hate to see a "what if..." game.

Not sure that the coaching aspect is a big as you think. They do have a terrific group of coaches and have maintained that continuity for a long time. But as Noel himself has said on many occassions, "its not the X's and O's, its the Jimmy's and Joe's". His Jimmy's and Joe's are better than a lot of NKY schools. They roll in games they are supposed to roll in. Now, throw in some upsets here and there and you will can argue about the coaching ability.

Sounds like the Mustangs will have a pretty good squad.:thumb:
