This was an exciting football game! The Rebels finally threw the football around a little bit and ran the ball well.

Yes they do. I think Boone needs to evaluate the situation and make a decision after this season. Time has passed this guy bye. Thompson is burying this program,heeds to resign or be fired.

Wow, I was at the game. It was probably the worst coached football game I have seen in a long time. It seemed like Boone was trying to run the clock to keep from being blown out at the start of the second quarter

What do you mean, can't run the ball? That's pretty much all they did the whole game and came out with 38 points...What I can't understand is how Boone couldn't stop Beechwood from running..

You have a point there! You would think after getting beat by Highlands and Ryle on a consistent basis the coaches would take a look at what is making them so successful and join the party. (If you can't beat em', join em)3 yards and a cloud of dust isn't cutting it anymore.

Awful coaching by Boone is making a decent team bad. I'm confused as to why these guys are aloud to coach a team at a highs school level. Boone threw the ball only twice the whole game and players are out of position. As a fan, I am emabarrased.

Yeah, you may be right..I will give them 5 games at the most when looking at their schedule... I watched them play several times last year and it was really boring . I still give them 3 or 4 wins this year. Although they are 2-0 I am sure they will lose to a team they should beat. I'm still not impressed, when the season is over look back at how Henry Clay and Scoot Co. finished up. To me, the measuring stick is here in NKY, how did you compete against teams in your area.

Has anyone heard anything on the boone game?

The second half was better than the first. You could really tell which team has already played a game already this season. It took Boone awhile to get their legs under them and during that time they found themselves down 21-0 at halftime. While watching the game I am more convinced than ever that Boone County needs a change of coaching from the top. Boone Co freshman team ran the ball 95% of the time even while down late in the game. This trickles down from the Varsity level. Ryle freshman team ran pretty much the same offense that its varsity team does. As a matter of fact, Ryle had its whole coaching staff on the sideline including the varsity head coach. Boone needs a coach that could come in with a different offense philosophy that isn’t so predictable. Boone Co. team is very athletic… Congrats to Ryle on a well played game.

I agree with you, somethng needs to give with Boone's offense. It's almost like time has passed whomever is calling plays for Boone by. This offense looks like something that was ran many years ago..Run, Run, Run.........all night long even if they are down 14 points with 2 minutes left they continue to run the ball

I understand what you are saying, it's just the 31-1 threw me for a loop.....

Not to take anything away from the accomplishment, but with a record of 31-1 what competition do they play? It's hard for me to believe that you play 32 games of solid competition and only lose once....
