Exaclty. I wouldnt want to face them come district or region time regardless of what their record is at the time.

They dont have terrible pitching. It'll be tough with the loss of Larimore but I still think Bertke, Brilz and Johnson can get the job done on the mound. They have both Colosimos still and they have a stud behind the plate in Cottingham. Why you ask? Who would you put ahead of them?

Brandon Hatton from Dixie is only an 8th grader but he will play jv this year. Maybe even varsity. Also Tanner Norton (Travis' little brother) is a solid freshman.

Nick Nobel and Jacob Zerhusen will be the top 2 in this pitching staff. Then after that Tommy McMahon will see some innings.

This is a joke. I know Holmes isnt the Holmes of last year but still. Dont you think them being ranked in the teens is low. I dont care what any body says they will win the 9th and make a run for the state championship again. They play tough when they need to.

They were a senior dominated team last year. And what I was told is last year no matter how good the freshman, sophomore or junior class was, the seniors on that team started every game for the most of the season. This year St. Henry will have what I think is one of the best lead off men in NKY in Jeremy Conelly. He did an outstanding job last year and is probably one of the fastest if not the fastest kids in NKY.

They'll go 1-1.

Kids wont have tryouts or school tomorrow or wednesday and probably not even friday or sunday. They are calling for snow friday and saturday again :irked:

Thats what I heard people saying. And yes I think there is a big possibility he could be playing 2nd base. I dont see why not when Dixie doesnt really have a set and stone 2nd basemen yet.

I didnt say Hatton would lead NKY in ppg next year. I said he'd lead NKY in ppg 3 out of his 4 years. It doesnt need to be next year he leads in scoring. As long as he does his sophomore, junior and senior season then im correct :thumb:

Cov Cath played again tonight after their game against Dixie Heights last night? They had to be at least a tad bit fatigued.

I never said he was in the low 80's. Im not trying to criticize Adam at all im just saying some of the things people say on here are down right crazy...As you said lets move on. Monday is February 15th... :dancingpa

:thumb: I like Shumate and the way he pitches but some of the things being said on here is absolutely unbelievable. Do you know Isler last year was only getting clocked at 85 mph on average. So some of you on here are saying Shumate is averaging 2 mph faster than Isler did last year? I dont think so. Shumate did great things last year for the Colonels but by no means was he gods gift to pitching like some of you all are saying. He's a very good pitcher and I hope the absolute best for him but do you guys not remember him getting beat by a very mediocre Dixie team at best last year? I say he throws MAYBE 82mph consistently. Good luck to young Mr. Shumate and the Colonels this year.

Mark this down because im calling it. Brandon Hatton will be the leading scorer in the 9th 3 out of his 4 years in high school.

Leeke will be playing this year. And he has been at the Bluegrass workouts this winter. He's looking like he'll be ready this season.
