  1. Dematteo is too small to play wide reciever. Word going around is he will play running back.
  2. They have a kid with the last name Johnson. Im not really too sure who it is but I know Coach M is wanting him to pitch. I also think that Cottingham could possibly get a little bit of time of the mound.
  3. He used to play. He quit before high school.
  4. I was saying I saw him play with the Oilers, Titans and SK. I didnt see him play with the Bearcats.
  5. No really big man to step up to the likes of Pittman or Rice will be tough for the Birds. Im saying that Pittman goes for 25 and Holmes wins by 15. Holmes 58 Birds 43
  6. No, he is a junior. He will still play summer baseball with the Chiefs and he will learn from this mistake and be ready for his senior season.
  7. :dancingpa Im happy for Derek! Congrats! I saw him play football from when he was just a starter in the Boone County Pee Wee Football League with the Oilers then the Titans and now all the way to SK :thumb: I wish the best of luck to him at Campbellsville.
  8. How? He is more dominant on the mound than at the plate IMO.
  9. Academics I heard. He wont play at all.
  10. The guy I came to the game with and I both saw Stahl's arm get smacked. We didnt have the best view from right behind the scorers table but it was a good enough view to see his arm get smacked. If you were watching after Stahl shot the ball, the kid who was guarding him kinda got mad at himself because I guess he thought he fouled him. Then when he realized the game was over his mood went from frustrated to relieved. I dont think he was the only one that thought that either. The entire gym erupted. The officiating in this game was very poor. Pittman already had one T on him and when there was some scuffle under the basket, he was the only player from both teams to rush the court. JJ got up in the face of Stansberry and was yelling at him. IMO both get T's, along with maybe Stansberry for the push in the back to JJ on the way up for the lay up. It honestly seemed like both teams were in the bonus 3 minutes into the game. I say just let the kids play and once it gets too rough then blow the whistle. At one time in the game Smith from Dixie was guarding Pittman and had a hand in his face and never touched him, the whistle was blown for a hold. The officiating wasnt one sided but still they did a very poor job both ways. Some calls hurt Dixie badly because they were at more crucial times. Pike played exceptional today. His 5th and final foul was another head scratcher. If he stays in the whole game and doesnt foul out Dixie wins this game. He would have ended up with 20 to 30 points. He was on a role from the get go. Hatton didnt score till the 2nd half. He had a BIG clutch 4 point play with about 30 seconds to go and Colonels down 5. All in all a great game to watch. Also a great atmosphere at Dixie Heights to sit and watch a game. :thumb: good night of basketball to watch.
  11. How did Andrew Cummins and Todd Jefferson do?
  12. They'll be just fine. They do not have a "big hitter" but 1-9 in their line-up will hit for average and a good average at that :thumb:
  13. It'll be a struggle without Larimore. Bertke and Brilz are going to have to have big years in order for things to go smoothly for the Tigers.
  14. I missed Raleigh fouling out. All the rest I saw.
