Manual just beat Iroquois (over 20 pts), Seneca (over 20 pts), and Jeffersontown double OT and they are still ranked behind them. J'town with two defeats in a row and Seneca losing it's last 4 of 5 games.

These are a joke!

It's time the CJT started publishing the AP poll or some of the online polls.

I agree with ptb on Manual and Trinity has beaten most everybody in the top ten, has not lost since 12/15( Ballard by 3) and still is not in the top 5.

Litkinhouse, and Cantrell for that matter, have minimal credibility!

This is a joke. I know Holmes isnt the Holmes of last year but still. Dont you think them being ranked in the teens is low. I dont care what any body says they will win the 9th and make a run for the state championship again. They play tough when they need to.

Both the Litkinhouse and Cantrell ratings are a joke. Thats why everyone pays attention to the AP poll and the BGP Poll as real rankings instead of these two.

The AP poll is usually in the C-J either Tuesdays or Wednesdays in the Scoreboard agate section.

Who is this "everyone" you speak of? Nobody takes the AP poll seriously for Ky. HS stuff. If they do, there's something seriously wrong with their ability to reason.

Based on how they have been playing, I think they are lucky to be 13th. They probably will win the 9th but they must play better than they have been of late.

The ratings won't mean nothing, zilch, and nada in two weeks. Only one team per region goes to the Sweet 16, the rest stay home and the season is over.

South Oldham just beat J-town and has a solid 21-5 record and they're not in the top 20?

AP is probably the worst of the bunch.

The AP rankings have struggled to even get enough votes to form a rankings. The initial ranking was well late due to the fact that it only had 2 or 3 votes turned in this year. Not sure why the disinterest in just turning a simple vote card in.

Disagree completely with you on this one. If this is the case then only the team that wins the region had a good year? Upsets will happen.

Only one team can win the brutal 7th region but I think the others who are ranked in the top ten certainly had great seasons and the rankings show that.

Fairdale just beat Lafayette and their only 12-10. Lit ratings just give you something to argue about. Trinity has won the top three tournaments in the state this year and are not #1. I have never liked the LIT ratings. Once they are set early in the year it is too hard to rise in the ranking. Easy to fall out but tough to gain spots even with quality wins. Manual is an example of that

Don't need misguided rankings to tell a program they had a good season. Trinity won all three major events this year and yet left out of the top 5. Heck, Trinity is not even in the top 2 in their region according to one ranking.

No one remembers where a team was ranked two years ago, but they do know (in most cases) who won their region. Rankings mean nothing.

Agree with this statement to a certain degree. Jtown doesn't seem to be dropping too fast. Though you are dead-on with it being tougher to climb than it is to fall.

AP has absolutely no credibility in this state. The voters don't see enough teams outside their regions.
