Bishop Brossart defeated Highlands 3-2 in a district semi-final game tonight. Brett Evans scores the "Hat Trick" for the Mustangs. Both teams played exceptionally well. Next up for the Mustangs is the winner of the Campbell County/Newport Catholic game. Best of luck to all. Go Mustangs!

Watched Bo Schuh play this summer. Great kid and excellent athlete. He will be fun to watch over the next few years.

I have watched all of those young men play and you are correct. They are good players and they can definately get after it.

Great pictures Panda. It is so generous of you to take pictures of all the teams. You even got a picture of my daughter doing long jump. She was the Brossart girl. Campbell County did a very nice job considering the weather wasn't the best. Great job by all of the athletes out there. Incredible and gutty performances by all. It is a special feeling to hear the whole crowd cheering for every single athlete. A real pleasure to be a part of it. Thanks again.

The 10th Region Freshman Tournament starts Tuesday night in Winchester. Finals on Thursday. Brossart v/s Clark Co. 6PM Mason Co. v/s Harrison Co. immediately following Who do you like?

I don't think they had a bad draw. What I meant was, that if someone refuses to go to the All A because of parking then that means there will, at the very least, be one seat open for someone who does want to be there.

Khalid, that sounds quite harsh coming from you. I wouldn't say they are state tourney ready or even regional ready but, I think they have several decent players who all battled very hard last night. Had Brossart a way to stop Tibbs last night, the outcome might be different. We did not have a stop for her and so, congrats to the Eagles on a well deserved win. Don't however sell our girls short. I thought they play valiantly and it was a heck of a game to watch from my vantage point.

I would like to add what a pleasure it was to see the varsity players from both teams there to watch their younger counerparts play for a championship. Kudos to both teams.

BTW, Bishop Brossart beat Walton Verona and Newport Contral Catholic beat Simon Kenton. Both will play tomorrow night at 6:10 in the championship game. Walton Verona will play Simon Kenton will in the consolation game.

Although I am not in the gym for practices, I do not believe that the yelling and screaming are taught by the coaches. I believe that most kids pick this up watching college and NBA games.

Brossart was 22 of 47 from the free throw line. I felt the same as you did last night. I thought that there were a lot of calls that did not go the Camels way. However, I spoke with parents from both teams last night and most of them felt that the officiating was rather inconsistent on both ends of the floor. :idunno:
