Basketball season for 2011/2012 should provide another exciting year. What should we expect from Bishop Brossart? Remember, please be constructive.

As a Camels fan, I follow our crosstown Mustangs pretty closely. They return 3 starters in Justin Saunders, Zach Fardo and big man Joe Jennings. I would expect Ben Uebel (Jimmy's brother) to be running the point (I have not seen him recently but I have heard he finally hit his growth spurt). I expect the Mustangs and Camels to compete for the 37th district title.

As always, Coach Code will have his young men ready to play every night and Mustang will be there providing great play-by-play.

Brossart will compete for district title with Fardo, Jennings and Saunders leading the way. However, before you put them and the Camels in the district championship game there is the matter of the 4 time defending district champs from Taylor Mill. They have a pretty good coach who always seems to find a way to win the district title.

Fair point. But, with Kellen Smith now gone, I do not expect a 5th.

BB Freshman team won the 10th region last year and I believe only lost one game. I was really impressed with the Freshman team.Fun bunch of kids to watch play. With what they return and the Freshman that played up last year...they are a team I will be keeping a eye on this year. Look for them to make a run at the region title in the next 3 years.

I like BB they play hard and will always play solid D. I just hope they can get some help putting the ball in the hole thats been some of there issues but thats the style that works for them. With a nice blended group of sophmores and a couple of seniors I think BB can with the 10th. Scott will still be tough to contend with they have a deep junior class who the coaching staff are very excited about and then CC will have a nice squad. Who does Joe Jennings play for on the AAU circuit?
