Well if one wants to see this game they should've bought tickets last year. I think the gym only holds a couple hundred people. Holmes rolls in the junior high gym Brossart plays in. And yes I am bitter that I have missed some top match-ups b/c the gym is tiny.

This should be a very good game and i expect there to be a nice crowd on hand.

 

The key for the Stangs will be whether or not they can handle Holmes pressure. If not, it could be a long jght for the home team. Holmes will be much more athletic and I expect them to win the rebound battle, but brossart pkays very smart at both ends.

 

Dontel Rice will be the best player on the court, hands down.

 

I think in the end Holmes depth is too much and they pull out a close one.

I think the key to the game is how well the Brossart guards handle the pressure. If you cant get the ball up the floor then 6'6 and 6'8 guys dont really factor into the game. With that said I think Coach Code will have a very good game plan and the home fans will be out in full force. Great early season matchup....somebody better block Dontel Rice out or they will get posterized. Just saying....

Saw Ben Uebel on crutches this weekend. Is he going to be ready to play tomorrow?

It truely is a unique atmosphere that many gyms can not match!

Question...how early will the gym start to fill up? Is it a good idea to just show up early and sit through the jv game?

^If you don't get there for the JV game, I'd say it's a toss up on whether you get in.
