Although I have not seen many of these teams, I have heard a little about Walton and Dixie. Both are strong teams with talented players. They might be the favorites in this tournament.

I know that Brossart Freshman are playing in the Freshman tournament hosted by Holy Cross beginning December 27. I know that we are playing Dixie in the first round. Just curious what other teams are playing. I have heard that Simon Kenton, Holmes, Campbell County, and Boone are playing. Any others?

I like to take my time. I'm in no hurry to rack up the posts. Just enjoy reading others comments. I appreciate the "holiness" distinction. :lol:

Made no calls. Let the game get out of control. Terrible official. No, just kidding. She was extremely embarassed. It left an impression...for a while. I'd say she is back to her old ways now.

I've seen it happen. My wife got called out onto the floor during my son's middle school game. He gave her his whistle and sat down in the bleachers. Unfortunately, no video.

In general, I think we are too hard on officials. I am amazed and shocked by many of the statements coming from the fans. I know and talk with a few referees. Although they do listen and hear both comments from the stands and the coaches, they have conditioned themselves to let it roll. IMO the referees that I have seen have done an excellent job.

I would also add that the facility was fantastic! First time at Paris gym. People were wonderful too! Great job hosting, Paris!:thumb:

Great win for the Mustangs. Excellent play on both sides. Jacob Rieger puts up 30. Needs 20 points to make the 1000 point club. And, as the father of a cheerleader, they were excellent as well.

Brossart beat Highlands, who beat Mason Co. I'll take Brossart 58-54. Then again, I am biased towards the Stangs. I drank the green Kool Aide.

Thank you to the administration for hosting the football game against Brossart. It was a well fought match with Frankfort coming out on top. Congratulations and good luck to the Frankfort football team. With that being said, I was disappointed with the accomodations for the opposing team (Brossart). Requiring 200 plus fans to sit in a dilapidated, structurally unsound bleacher that could only hold 50 fans is ridiculous. The seats that we attempted to sit on were broke and when we tried to sit in the much larger stands next to the Frankfort fans, we were told that we had to move. Does that make the Brossart faithful rude and disorderly? If so, please accept my apologies and a member of that group. However, it seems that the host school is should do its very best to offer accomodations that are adequate for the school which they are hosting. An administrator cheering on their student section because they are taunting the Brossart parents and fans is in my mind, deplorable. I hope that the next time our teams play that the camraderie and the accomodations will be more appropriate.
