Who wins this matchup and why? Nelson has 26 seniors and wishes to avenge a loss from last season, but Warren has a very good fullback and a team packed with confidence! This should be a good game on a sloppy field.

I agree with gamechanger. Nelson's offensive and defensive lines will dominate, thats where the game will be won!

Who wins this cross town rival and why?

Bethlem comes out fired because they feel disrespected, Knox gets off to a slow start and Bethlem wins 27 to 24.

Nelson has about 25 seniors with a couple of them being 4 year starters. I don't believe this game will be close Nelson will roll over the Rockets. Shelby is running the wing T and hardly passes the ball, they are not balanced at all. Nelson has a couple of good backs and a couple of good recievers. Nelson wins 28 to 7.

Maybe the new Super. can put some emphasis on sports and acedemics and have a good balance. We surely need some support! Dr. Lance wouldn't give a dime for sports, and didn't do a very good job on acedemics neither.

Synthetic turf will not help a school that settles for mediocore sport teams. Grass or turf it doesn't matter!

Their line really needs to get stronger. They played some young players last year and they got some good experience but the line is really their weak spot. They'll also be replacing a QB and their #1 reciever. And to top it all off, they have a new defensive coach. They will be competitive, but don't expect great things!

Don't be surprised if something happens! Things aren't going well! Coach Braden is not very happy. The administration might do something to convince him to stay, but for now its not looking good.

There is a lot of talk that coach Braden is unhappy and may be looking to find another job. Does anyone have any insight on this subject?

How many guys actually go to the NFL? Very few! Why go D-1 and ride the pine when you can go to a small college and play. My point is that very few people make a living playing football after college, don't waste 1 or 2 or sometimes even 3 years of your college career sitting on the bench when you could play as a freshman and have 4 great years of memories to tell your kids and grandkids about. If a player actually has a chance to play at the pro level then go D-1, if not go small, and be realistic about your own skills and talent.

Fort Knox will be much improved! All their backfield has legit 4.4 speed! They run the option out of the pistol, and will score a lot of points.

The word from Shelby County is that all their good players are in the district for Martha Layne Collins. Shelby made a nice run last year with a lot of juniors.

He's leaving someone with a good bunch of incoming seniors, probably 8 or 9 kids that started some time during the season.

Trinity will roll on, too much speed on defense. I watched the Shelby/Trinity game and came away impressed with Trinity's defense. I think it will be another St. X./Trinity championship game.

I've seen both teams play year and I don't think the X men have much to fear!

Marion played a very tough schedule that has them very prepared. I haven't seen Lone Oak play but I have seen Marion play. Marion is an excellent tackling team with a lot of speed on defense. I don't know who will win but there is no way Lone Oak hangs 40 points on Marion I think it will be much closer.

Greenwood has a tough defense. But I think St. X wins big. Greenwood has met their match. St. X wins 35 to 7.

John Hardin in a close game. Mark Brown will advance to another state title game. JH runs the wing t better than any program in the state(Coach Brown won the 1996 state 4A state title with Nelson County running the wing t.) Bowling Green has an awesome team and the Warren Central loss was a very close game. Also there is rumor that Coach Brown is going to retire so that might be extra motivation for JH. John Hardin 28 to 21.

This is will be a low scoring game. The long ride is critical, but I believe Beechwood will be prepared. I'll take Beechwood 21 to 19.

At this point in the season anything can happen but Highlands is the better team. I believe Highlands will advance to play John Hardin.
