Simon Kenton does have a decent chance, but St.X wins, just too much experience and way too deep. This is going to be a great game. I will be there for sure.

Greenwood dominated the 2nd half. Nelson's defense played really good in the 1st half, but as always they got really tired in the 2nd half. Nelson always gets tired on defense because they refuse to sub. in fresh players. Congrats to Greendwood! They were district champs and they deserve to play in the region championship!

Pride was hurt during the Warren Central game. I was at the Greenwood/Nelson County game, actually worked the chains, and I saw Nelson drive inside the 5 yard line 2 times and not come up with a TD neither time, maybe good Greenwood defense but it looked more like bad play calling from Nelson County. And Greenwood scored 2 tmes in 1:19 to close out the first half, which was the difference in the game. In my honest unbiased opinion, the game was very close and evenly matched. If Nelson had all their playmakers healthy, then who knows? This game is too close to call.

Bardstown let up. They knew that they had the district won so they let up a little bit. Plus they were so banged up, senior starting QB out, senior wideout out, starting linemen out. But they are a lot better than the team that got beat by Fort Knox.

Just compare common opponents, look at the power ratings, and then make a decision based on the facts. It looks like Trinity should win, but it will be close. Shelby is probably the best 6A public school that Trinity has played all year. Trinity wins a close one 26 to 21.
