Hmm......I wonder if WV's brass would have spent the dough knowing this ahead of time. What good does it do to have different divisions in a tourney? The bracket I seen looked to have some decent competition in it. Oh well.

No upset, SK missing a starter. Think the only upset was Cooper beating SK in the first round. Have to see what happens Jan. 31 at the JOE.... Next up Fayette Co. Ga, Dec. 26 at LexCath. Will be a tough one. Heard they had some big boys.

Coming from a cake jumper! Love when cakes the whine about someone else getting a transfer, if there not going to HHS, priceless. I don't like any of it, but until the state grows a pair and does there job this is what ya got.

Teams not faring well against out of state competition. Soundslike some serious competition though. Looking forward to the Mike Murphy Classic at Mason Co. and the Fifth third tourney at Lex.Cath.

Don't know how WV beats Owen. Have not seen Owen Co. play,but it will take more than one feel-good win over a decent team to get the team I saw this past Friday going in the rite direction. SK playing without one of there guns, and the game was NEVER in doubt. Best of luck, sometimes that little all "a" tourney can help a team thays having trouble getting it together.

I see all the posts about WV not doing this or that and not playing together. I'm just proud of SK's preesure "D" and the ability to knock down shots. Couple tough tourneys coming up before and after Christmas will probably really test there mettle. Should be exciting, looking forward to the rest of the season and how the 8th shapes up. Sorry about the guy in the orange shirt, but the band thing is so BUSCH LEAGUE that I've come to expect.

Thought at the beginning of the year they were really supposed to be good. That team I watched tonight was a trainwreck. Unusual for a Trame coached team. They obviously have some decent talent. To Neerfan's statement, I thought the band was always next to there student section to make one big pep-section, between that and the number of WV fans sitting on the visitors side didn't care much for it. I realize we have our fans sit behind the bench when we play at home. Those fans don't get rowdy, kinda want to stretch out just watch the game. If the game was REMOTELY close having WV's band sitting next to SK's cheer section(mostly footballers) could have turned ugly in a hurry.Heaven forbid

Pioneers sweep all 3 games. Varsity game was a complete laugher. Looks like SK should sweep the district. Nice how WV puts there band on the visitors side. Sk should return the favor at home but they won't. Who predicted WV would win by !0? :popcorn: LOL

Nice post, agree 100%, The Grant County Jags show was special and heartwarming. First time I've seen everyone in "The Joe" clap at the same time since the old pep rallys. SK has a good JV team as well. When coach Steiner gets a few more of them acclimated to the varsity game, I think the Pioneers can be dangerous come tourney time being able to go deep into his bench.

Birds get crushed in both these games easily. Highlands is nobodys "super-bowl" anymore in B-Ball.
