Mosier had 10 rebounds and 6 points. Defensive intensity and rebounding was the difference tonight. Walton shut the inside game for Owen. Hopefully this game will be a sign of things to come.:thumb:

Agreed. If this team plays like they did tonight, they will tough to beat.

Don't know how WV beats Owen. Have not seen Owen Co. play,but it will take more than one feel-good win over a decent team to get the team I saw this past Friday going in the rite direction. SK playing without one of there guns, and the game was NEVER in doubt. Best of luck, sometimes that little all "a" tourney can help a team thays having trouble getting it together.

Good win for WV tonight. Hopefully this is what we have to look forward to seeing in the future games for the Bearcats.

Yes, Sawyer played. There was a lot of beef on the floor at times tonight.

Sawyer Williams 6'7", Carson Williams 6'4", Shelton 6'4", Hargett 6'5", Helton 6'5", Mosier 6'6" (some of those are guesses on heights).

Walton pushed the ball up the floor and played an extended 2-3 on defense.

Tanner Moeves had a nice game with 11pts and Chad Lucas had the best game that I have seen him play this year.

Hargett played like a top 10 player in the region tonight. Posted and took the ball strong to the rim. Went to throw one down at the end of the game but was fouled. Not sure that he would of even attempted that last year!

Again, great game by both teams. Owen has a nice team with good guards and size. Both teams played extremely hard.

Maybe you forgot about what I would consider on of Simon Kentons third best team. They beat Oldham Cty in January 50-41 without Hester and then lose to them in the 8th region championship 63-57 with Hester and they were loaded that year with 3 of the top 5 players in the region. Never count a team out in December.

Why is McNeil not playing?

Mosier had a huge game considering he only played a limited amount of minutes! Chad Lucas had an all around outstanding game and Hargett's shot selection was much better, even though he made some tough shots! Good Luck to WV, they have a Christmas tournament in Gatlinburg this week!

Walton played a decent game and controlled the inside for the most part. Mosier played a nice roll, rebounding and moving toward the basket where he was found for some easy shots. Thought Lucas played a nice game for Walton. He played within himself, hit a couple open 3's, made the good pass, not flashy but played nice. I was slightly underwhelmed by Owen. Thought they would be tougher on the inside, rarely ran someone to the high post against a 1-2-2 or the 2-3. Sure they will do better as Williams gets back in the flow.
