Walton Verona 63 Owen County 58

Featured Replies

Walton played great team ball tonight even all the guys off the bench played good while in. Owen just seemed lost when Walton went into the zone, setteling for 3's. Helton had good game Hargett was huge and got other guys involved in the flow which opened it up for him. I saw every game for this team this year and it may be blasphmy but the team looks better with mcniel out right now.

My only question is why 33 for Walton plays so much very shakey with ball in his hands and not very good on D, dont understand the love fest Walton has with him. jmo

Why is McNeil not playing? (I dont think anyone saw the question the first two times?)
He has been dealing with some health related issues. As some of you may know because you may have played in the golf outing that is put on every year for juvenile diabetes - Zach is a diabetic. Zach and his family have raised a large amount of money over the past several years to help with the fight toward juvenile diabetes. Hopefully, Zach will be able to get his health under control and get back out on the basketball court.

ZM didn't seem like himself when I saw him last week. Best wishes to him!

Nice win over Owen Co. Would have thought the Sawyers would be too much for WV to overcome.

Thanks weak side. I knew he had an issue that sometimes prevented him from playing over long periods of time. Wasn't sure what it was. He is a great player and I hate not seeing his name in the box scores.

Good luck to Zach.

I agree he has not looked himself hope he can get better and get back into the flow.

Zach is a great player, very tough playing through his condition....another reason I think when he is back needs to be moved to the 2room guard. He great spot up shooter, moves good w/o ball, teams figured out wear him down by pressuring 90 ft, &I better ball movement for WV when he's not on point. If Hargett plays with that toughness best potential for next level in n.Kye....many more tools than say kid like Hatton.

Jeff and his wife continue to help fight the disease. Good for them. Hang in there, Zach.
