Simon Kenton 64 Ashland 46

SK started the 3rd quarter with a 10-0 run that put the game out of reach. SK's radio broadcast said that Chambers was in the gym at 10am on Wednesday and shot 700 jumpers after his rough first round showing. He played to excellent games.

And which teams had the home court advantage in these game?

Cooper-SK was on a neutral floor. SK-Ashland was on a neutral floor. Mason-Cooper was at Mason, where Mason generally plays horribly (did everything but give the game away in this one). Ashland-Mason was at Ashland.

As I've often said, the better team on the given night wins.

I don't think it's an upset, SK did defeat Ashland once last season on the road and lost once in the Kenton County classic. I think the margin is what many are surprised about.

Surely that's impossible. I thought the home team never lost.

Not always , as I have said, home court is an advantage, dosn't mean you will win, but still an advantage.

See above reply.
