That is kind of what I saw also. Conner was able to get alot of transisiton baskets off of turnovers. Hatton did a nice job shooting the ball and did draw some fouls penetrating. I think he might have been perfect from the line as well, but it is clearly obvious that this team is better when Trammel is in the lineup also. When Conner was forced to play half court, Hodges and Robinson really looked strong. Pike in the paint would have helepd this, but I think the guard play would have doomed Dixie in the end. I chose this game becasue SK was so far. Would have probably have liked the Scott/ SK game better.

I'm taking Beechwood by 10.

Which game will be better, Scott @ Sk or Conner @ Dixie. Does anyone know what admission will be?

Montgomery County is a 10th. Region team. They currently are 10 - 4 with 2 losses to Lafayette and one each to Clark County and Fairview.

I wouldn't have Dixie above Ryle and I think Scott High School is missing.

I won't argue it. I agree the Cats are a dangerous team to anyone, and they did what good teams do and that is find a way to win. However, this game could have easily have been Conner's. A missed three from the corner and this game belongs to the Cougars. I did not expect Conner to lead most of the game like they did. I still think after Holmes, NKY in general is wide open.

I was wrong in my prediction of the Conner/ Bryan Station game. Conner's bigs seem to struggle with more athletic teams. I think this favors Newport. I am going with Newport by 8.

It was nice to see a packed house. This is how High School games should be. It was a fun evening. Congrats to the Bulldogs.

Bryan Station did whatever they wanted to do in the first half of this game. Conner attempted to slow the game, but was inaffective at either of the court. I think Station put up more points in the first half of this one than they did the entire game against Holy Cross. Fain was amazing. He couldn't miss. The second half, surprisingly without Hodges, Conner made a nice run to get the game respectable. It looked like it could have been a ball game. Flesch from Conner was putting on his own show. Station held on to win by 10 after having Conner down by over 20 at one time. Their size and athleticism was too much for Conner down the stretch. I did notice that Station seemed to struggle with the Conner press (Which was not that intimidating. IMO) Good win for Bryan Station.

Is Trammel back for Dixie yet?

Bryan Station has good size and is very athletic. Conner has been playing extremely well. I will take Conner in a close one 58-52. Holy Cross contained Bryan Station for a couple quarters before the size wore on them. Conner brings more size into the game and I think that will be the difference.

Holy Cross beat Cumberland County and will face Bryan Station tonight at 8:00 P.M. N. Laurel beat Lloyd and will play Conner tonight at 9:45 P.M Conner beat Bellevue.

What I noticed most about this game was that Ryle went into despearte mode way too early IMO. There was alot game left with Conner ahead by maybe 3 points and Ryle started taking illadvised three pointers. The technical wasn't a help, but I think Ryle could have pulled out the win despite it.

Does anyone have the box score? Stauffer and Coleman had solid games. Mcleish seemed to be removed from this one.

Sorry to hear that either player is loosing time due to injury. Seems to be so much more common in younger kids these days. Good luck to both of them.

Will Holy Cross be able to slow the tempo down enough to keep the final scores in the low fortys? If not, I take Scott by double digits. If Holy Cross can control tempo, I will still take Scott but by 5 or 6.

It sounds like expectations may be higher. It is hard to take comfort in losses, but Mason and Lex Cath are top notch programs. Scott has done well with both of them. I see this being a solid year for the Eagles.

I will have to agree here. Trevan Brown of Boone had a field day with Conner. I see Thelan putting up close to 20 against them.

Was at this game. Montgomery and Cotton are athletes. When they weren't scoring, they were creating opportunities for Lay and Brown. I went to watch the Mikey Gabbard show. Suprisingly, he was held pretty much in check. Flesch for Conner played excellent defense. Gabbard had about 7 points when Flesch left the game. Conner had absolutley no offense. I expected to see Hodges and Robinson put up big numbers, but not much. Hodges had a nice dunk that was matched by Montgomery for Boone later in the game. Conner was down by 30+ at one time. Lang made a single handed run against the Boone JV to get it to 20. Nice win for Boone with a short handed squad,
