Others: Scott 7, Beechwood 4, Campbell County 3, Simon Kenton 3, St. Henry 2

 

Campbell County has been up and down this year but they should be in the top 10. They have beat NewCath and Dixie. Beechwood has 4 points to the Camels 3 and Camels beat them by 23.

Teams have good games and bad games.

Newport #2....what has Boone done to stay that high ? I see this thing changing a lot by weeks end.

Newport's strength of schedule is currently about 6.3. Boone's is about 13.7 so far. The combined record of Newport's opponents is less than 500 (including Villa Madonna, Ludlow, SCPA, etc.). Boone's is about 666 percentage. Boone's weakest opponent has been Hopkins County Central. I know that Newport defeated a depleted Highlands team. What other impressive wins has Newport had so far?

 

Boone plays on Newport's home court next week. At the moment, I don't think you can put Newport ahead of Boone, but certainly if Newport wins next week, they should be bumped to #2.

Notice I said "Right now" before my ranking....I do agree though that things will end up being that way and if you throw the records out the window, your top 4 are dead on.
