Final from Hebron.

This is a surprise to me.

Screws up my contest this week.

This is a surprise to me.

Not sure why this is a surprise to you. Conner is a different team with Robinson in the line up as is Boone with Earls and/or Popp. Robinson DNP in Conner's early games due to a shoulder injury. As with any Jim Hick's team, Conner will continue to improve and be ready to knock off some teams they are "supposed" to lose to come tournament time. Two years ago, they kept a heavily favored Boone team from making it to the regional tournament. Last year, they came very close to upsetting Ryle in district play. Don't take this team lightly.

Congrats to the Cougars! Great win, but keep working hard.

Me too...

Nice win for the Cougars.

Have not seen Ryle yet this season but they seem to be struggling offensively. That surprises me with a good inside/outside combo of McLeish and Stauffer.

Does anyone have the box score? Stauffer and Coleman had solid games. Mcleish seemed to be removed from this one.

Per Enquirer:

Ryle	21	10	12	6	-49
Conner	10	14	12	20	-56

Ryle (3-3) - Pinkston 1 0 3, Stinson 1 0 2, McLeish 5 0 11, Perkins 2 1 5, Coleman 3 2 9, Stauffer 5 5 15, Bollet 2 0 4. Totals: 19 8 49.

Conner (4-3) - Lang 3 2 9, Stephens 5 0 12, Leichty 0 6 6, Flesch 2 4 8, Robinson 4 3 11, Hodges 4 2 10. Totals: 18 17 56.

Looks like a 4th quarter meltdown by Ryle. Congrats to Conner.

Conner never gave up and did an excellent job of executing adjustments. Congrats to the Cougars on a huge win.

THe Coaching for Ryle was awful. Mullings got a T with 2 min to go in the 4th and down 4 points. It burried any chance they had of winning.

Bearcat, don't question Ryle's coaching this board will eat you alive, but I agree 100%.

It looks like Ryle's big men help up their end. Stauffer led all scorers with 15 and Coleman added 9.
