Lod you are a hater Avery plays the role he is assigned to play for this team. what ever is asked of him he does without complaint. With the talent that Holmes has he really does not have to be a scoring machine but you sleep on him and he will make you eventually. His defense speaks for it self because Newports high octane offense was shut down.

What I saw was a well coached game by the Holmes staff trying to run the ball to open up their passing game which FC had no answer for which led to such a close score early in the game. Once that was done Holmes pretty much controlled the game as far as the FC staff is concerned it was very strange to me that their kicker could kick off but they had no confidence in him to try extra points. To me they could not handle the half time adjustments that Holmes made. As far as the playoffs are concerned its one game at a time which means on any given day any one can be beat. Go Dogs!!

Wldcatfan I respect your opinion because we are all entitled to but you said you watch Demetrius play in elementary. What school did watch him play for?

You clamed that you watch Demetrius play from elementary but dont have a clue where he played the only time Andy and Demetrius has matched up against one another is in middle school and neither one was more dominate than the other. I know and like Andy alot but first of all they play different positions and Andy plays center and works more on the inside and thats not to say he cant go outside because he does have a nice jumper. Demetrius works inside and out and is an overall more balanced player who plays forward, guard and on some occassion center as far as the dunk they both can. They have also had the pleasure of playing together but played different roles on their school teams. See I like when people talk about stuff they dont know because unlike others I will correct you. Demetrius does not have to dunk or play in a single game because we will still love him the same and thats what parents are suppose to do. Cause academic wise he will still go on to college with or without basketball.

Only reason Spaulding did not play as much is because of the politics surrounding Boone County Basketballs program. Here is a young man that was a spectator at the Senior East/West allstar game the West was short players ask Spaulding to play in which he ends up scoring 20+ points and being named the MVP for the West. This was not by luck he has always been more then capable of putting up these type of number but never really was giving the chance.So he was more than capable of being a difference maker.

The kids that play with the K-Y Players like playing under Coach Bruce they are very loyal to him. He on many occasions has told them they can play with who they want but the players refuse to be separated. Alot of the teams just want certain players and the kids wont leave without taking everyone with them. Coach Bruce has to come up with the funds by him self for them to participate in the tourneys that they play in because he refuses to charge the players any money to be a part of the team. He has tried to get sponsors to help and only a hand full have and the kids realize this. Everyone talks about why they wont leave him it because no one wants to help them off the court like he does it is not just about basketball with him he cares about them when no body wants to listen to them. The players trust him because they have been with him since they were ten years old Everyone hopped on the bandwagon when they won the state title but no one wants to help as far as sponsoring his team fully. And yes some played for the Queen City Prophets last year in Orlando but that was because Coach Bruce went with them else they would not have went thats how much love they have for him.

No problem me and my wife are his close circle we make all the decisions with him. You always are going to have people that will jump on the band wagon that don't understand the seriousness of things they dont have a clue about. We will keep you guys posted on his future. Right now we are trying to focus on our other son Scooter from Conner getting him ready for college.

Me and my wife have not sold our home yet and have not decided on where he will attend school this up coming year. Check your source out first before posting something you and them are not aware of.
