ND tried to bring a physical game plan tonight and found out real quick that the Lady Dogs could play just as physical. As I have said in earlier post we have face several styles of play and have adjusted well. ND seemed to be winded at times but kept fighting hard. They really are not as bad as their record shows. Their number 40 is a real nice player but got caught up in battling with fans in the stands while she should have focused more on the game at hand. Fans are going to heckle teams on the road it is part the game. So I think she lost her composure in that manner but overall she has had a very nice high school career.Holmes is a tough team to match up with because of their depth. Even when beat long they still were able to recover.

I agree as I have stated in previous post that HHS and HC will both be tough games as both were last year. As far as the teams the Dogs have faced is concerned the girls dont make the schedule they just play the game. If your team is weak then they get blowed out and if they try control the tempo the Dogs take what is given. Fast or slow, sloppy, clean, dirty this Dog team could care less because they are in great condition and wont stop fighting until the last buzzer sounds. If the teams they play can stand the heat then maybe they come out with a victory. All three teams have experience and are well coached. And they all have different styles and can adjust during games. Each team has added key pieces that will be factors in how they excecute their game plans and which teams bench can contribute because I believe that will be the deciding factor because of fouls.

The Lady Dawgs have seen several different styles from slow to fast and have adjusted very well. They have played against man to man, zones and pressing teams. And still have came out on top. So teams can pick their poison and either get ran out of the gym or shot out of the gym cause they can shoot too. You all shall see real soon cause we are coming to gym near you are against it really does not matter. Just make sure to pay attention cause in a blink of an eye your teams could be the next one to be ran out of the gym. Lady Dawgs by 15 over ND.

D. Joseph is the player that thought about trying to go up for the block and yes he got posterized. But he is not the first and wont be the last.

I'm a Bulldogs fan and for one dont think we will run away with the game against HHS or HC. If you combine the margin of victory from the game from last year I believe it was no more than 10 points total for the three games. HHS lost by one witha desperation last second shot. And the Dawgs split with HC. So to be truthful I dont see this years games margin of victory being any different no matter who wins.

Dont recall saying RCC9 in my post but if the shoe fit wear it. Dont you worry the Dawgs take it a game at a time and will give their all.

And you best believe the Dawgs will be ready and will not have a million excuses about who is not there and who is sick or injuried. Because they have played no matter what. Lets not forget the excuses that were given when Owenboro beat the Birds and unless my eyes are failing me that was light pressure. Oh I forgot the Birds did not want to really play in Conners tourney so they did not play hard. I tell you one thing the dawgs have lost for years and never made any excuses. So be patient your teams will get their chance.

Also the AD and the Principal was all sittng together during the game.

Must not be all that prepared for the dance have not heard any news about any parades pertaining to SK girls basketball. That probally explains why your in the region your in cause the ninth region top 6 would run through SK.

Coach Perkins does not work at the middle school he is at TLC in Park Hills which Coach Stowers is fully aware of. Tell him to try the high school next time since its Girls High School basketball.

Just finish playing the King of the Bluegrass. Plus they traveled out of state last year to New York and the Lady Bulldogs stayed local. This year the Lady Bulldogs travel to Ft. Meyer Fl. and boys play locally.

Well thats sound like another SK excuse to me. But I did not respond about HHS. My question was about the Lady Bulldogs. Which is Holmes last time I ckecked because I know HHS are the Lady Bluebirds.

Agree whole heartedly but I do not understand why SK wont schedule or play the Lady dogs.

Holmes played the Boone game without their starting point guard who really pushes the tempo for them. As well as players being ill also. I just hope everyone is healthy when they meet so that there will be no excuses.

Dixie does have talent but they are young and lack experience when it comes to finishing games or maintaining leads. Many people feel that talent alone should bring victories but there must be chemistry also. They probably have one of the most talented as well as tallest center about 6'3. But when you dont have varsity experienced guards it creates problems getting her the ball. Teams that know this will pressure them and cause problems. But if they face teams that allow them to run set plays then Dixie will most likely have the upper hand because of their center. They still try to push the tempo which overtime will help them get better but it is not going to happen over night. Season is still early so they have plenty of time to improve. Believe me as a Bulldog fan exspecially girls we have had years of frustration until last year and this year. So they will get better with practice and experience during games.

Really, you mentioned two teams that was HC and HHS being the clear top two before I mentioned the Lady dogs being 6-0 so let the chips fall where they may when the teams finally meet up. Everyone will see who is the top team coming real soon. It's to bad that most of the girls are close to one another because it would probably get real personal on here. The girls really respect one another so that in its self will make the games very interesting. Even when they meet up nothing will matter until the Districts and Regionals everything before that will show what each one has to improve on. They all do great things and will represent NKY no matter what.
