Holmes has really built a great program that is attracting a lot talent!

He will be a great addition to Holmes' team.

Slow down and let's not put the cart before the horse. From my understanding he has enrolled in Holmes for the upcoming year and his parents have moved into the school district which Holmes is in. With that said he still has to be cleared by the KHSAA to have met the eligibity rules regarding transfers. Until that time he's not a member of the basketball team officially. Will he get ruled eligible? Probably yes but we'll have to wait and see after the school sends in his transfer request for varsity eligibility. Until then he is just a student who will be attending Holmes High School. (If you don't think the KHSAA can make a mess of things just ask Scott Co. about last year)

One thing you fail to mention is that all four players above are originally from Covington. It's not like they traveled 100+ miles out of nowhere to transfer to a state powerhouse, like some have in the past.

Exactly. I don't know why all the guys transferred, but I would guess that the basketball team is something that affected their decision and you can't blame them.

I heard this would be official "in a few days" last Thursday. I don't know anything about the kid, but I hope he's able to play basketball.

I didn't see E. Pittman mentioned, is he still playing for Holmes?
