Can anyone name a recent Holmes transfer that wasn't originally from Covington?

Just like Highlands, Beechwood and CovCath get transfers in football each year.

Who was the last transfer into CCH?

Who was the last transfer into CCH?

Didn't they all end up at Highlands?

Transfer was probably not the right word, especially with CCH being a private school. I think he is saying out of district students attending these schools. There haven't been many "transfers" that I can think of into any programs. But there are always out of district students who arrive freshman year at each of the schools listed. As someone said earlier, success breeds success and people want to be part of it.

Well said.

In this day and age I don't think there is a school in the state that can claim innocence when it comes to students transferring into or going to out of district schools and play a particular sport or to be a part of a great academic team, for that matter. I have seen that happen as well.

Sure.

Top 10 9th Region player Demetrius Avery has transferred from Conner to Holmes.

Is there an official listing of the top 10 players in the 9th region or is this just in your opinion?

He's a really good player from what I have heard and seen in AAU. Just curious.

BOTH:lol:

Does anyone know where Avery stands as far as being able to play with Holmes next year?

Assuming he moved I can't imagine there would be any problem getting him eligible.

I remember Avery playing on a team called the Cyclones in the 6th grade I believe. On that team the players I remember aside from Avery were Josh Raleigh from Dixie, Dillon Greene from Pendelton, Nikola Gligorevic from Scott (Graduated) , and a few others I cant remember.
