That was the only game all year they struggled with any kind of traps/press. Typically that plays into their hands. They looked like they were not ready or caught off guard by it. Bell is not bad they will compete and be ok. What about Marshall Co? Anyone know anything about them? I know they are a 3pt. shooting team with not great size.

Bell Co. plays Thursday at 8pm. They are releasing school at 1pm on Thur and no school Friday.

Don't be surprised to see Harlan Co. in Bowling Green. They return nearly everything and will be very good. They play a style that none of those teams like. SMASHMOUTH.

I watched LCC a few times last year and the 1 thing that stuck out to me was the lack of defense played. Under Hillard they played solid Defense but this past season they gave up yards and points way too easy. With a fan base that is very unhappy LCC better get on track in '11.

Some people will always see the glass half empty! I agree with most of you on here. If a young man has put in the time and is a special enough Student-Athlete to be recruited. Then allow those young men to enjoy their paycheck how THEY choose.

Russell Co. is no pushover at all. KC will be very, very good on offense with who they return. Defense will be inexperienced. Rock does return everyone but in reality it was the worst Rock team I saw in years. Could not throw, OL was below average and defense could not tackle.

KC will be fine. They will win their 1st district championship next year with the new re-alignment. Getting over the hurdle of Regional Champ will continue to the be tough.

Sorry did not know they were many KC's across the state???? Knox Central. Only other football playing school starting with K I can think of is Knott County Central but they are KCC.

Word is that he has informed his players at KC that he will be leaving for Bell. I think this is a good move for the Bell Co. program. Any thoughts?

A lot of times that is very true. Very few of those types of hires become successful. HS is a total different animal than college. Lets just hope for the fans, parents and players of MS that this 1 works out. Good Luck to him.

I think this will be the year that there will be much improvement in Jackson. The team is working hard in the weight room and although they are still a young minded football team and under classed dominated. I see them as being more competitive in each of its games. Time will tell the story as it always does.
