Christian County & Bowling Green?

Featured Replies

Most likely one will be 5A state champions in 2011. Any opinions on why or why not? Let's hear it.

Christian County? They lost a lot of guys, what makes you think they're one of the favorites?

The talent level seems pretty high at CC. They seem to rebound with a lot of talent each year.

John Hardin returns a ton as well.

I heard they lost key players. Seems like i heard they lost alot on the line?

Don't be surprised to see Harlan Co. in Bowling Green. They return nearly everything and will be very good. They play a style that none of those teams like. SMASHMOUTH.

If HC is still in 5A i like there chances. They play very good football. Strong and fast. They fly to the ball and can open some huge holes.

I'd say Harlan County or Bowling Green.

I think Tom Larkey will do exactally what he was hired to do, Bring a State Championship to Harlan Co. Go Black Bears!!!!!!

That may be true, but those teams will bring something Harlan Co. won't like. A whole lot of speed.

What do they do that makes you call it smashmout?

Christian County lost at least as many key players if not more.

Pretty much what I was thinking. I think Bowling Green returns a lot if memory serves and is probably the pre-season favorite. Harlan County has to be in the discussion but no more so than say John Hardin and/or Christian County among others.

Is it safe to say that it will be a disappointing season for Bowling Green if they aren't in the state finals?

DF, won't Central still be a great team and be capable of making the run to Smith Stadium as well?

What do they do that makes you call it smashmouth?
It's defined as running the same three plays the whole game, and keeping the ball on the ground as if it were a mallard during duck season.
