  1. Both sideline judges threw a flag so apparently it was obvious from both sides of the field. These officials were either really bad or very lazy. I'm sure they have a full day pee wee schedule tomorrow.
  2. Onside kicked due to 15 yd personal foul penalty in Dixie coaching staff during hall time. Conner kicked from the Dixie 45. On side kick was recovered on the 35.
  3. Cameron ran 4.4 at three different colleges this summer by different coaching staffs. The other schools were very low 4.5. And he has been timed with hand and laser. In case you didn't know Fogle also plays baseball at a pretty high level. He's been playing varisty since freshman on some pretty good Conner teams. He has been contacted by some MLB clubs over the summer. They seem to noticed his 60 times during some showcase events. He only ran a 6.4 60 yd. Do your homework and decide for yourself if that's fast? In the Beechwood game the defense even had the pursuit angle and the only thing they saw where the bottom of his shoes, chasing fumes. Remember this post was about Cooper being the best team in NKY. Back to the subject or create another thread!
  4. Some of these ignorant statements are embarrassing. How did you get so far off the subject to bring Pike back into a predication thread? Reading this thread is wasting time in my life that I'll never get back.
  5. Now, this conversation is getting out of hand. Conner and Cooper both are very talented teams as they should be with the group of Seniors/Juniors on both sides. But to say Conner may have the best team in school history....C'mon Man know what your talking about. Conner won the State Championship in '83 runner up in '81 in 3A. In 2003 & 04 they went on a 20-0 regular season record for 2 straight years. These teams have a long way to go to match some history. Cooper is making their history now. They are not a new school anymore, this is their 5th season as a school with plenty of athletes. Right now each team needs to focus on the team in front of them for each week, in a few weeks round 1 will be settled. I'm sure they will meet again in November. Road to Bowling Green for 5A will travel through a part of Boone County.
  6. Best quess on Fogle stats. 70+ rushing, 70+ recv and 100+ return yards, 9 tackles on D. Awful early to be declaring pecking order just yet. Remember it is week1.
  7. Take tonight out of it. A State Championship is the goal regardless of tonight's outcome. Any quality team should have the same goal, if not why play? So you are correct, if this group does not make a state final appearance they will also see this as a disappointed season.
  8. Don't know if anyone else noticed, the article on Holy Cross and Cooper was titled "Indians take on 5A Conner". I don't care what excuses the enquirer has but that paper would fail any English 101 college entry course. C'mon man at least proof read the article. Cooper fans should be upset and who could blame them. Get it right or don't print it.
  9. RE, don't you know he will be in Independence helping Marksberry coach the Pioneers. At least if they win?
  10. Don't forget about McKeean, Way and Loney. Hard to contain all of them. Pick your poison. With Conner's Offensive Line averaging around 240 each, it should be hard to get to touch Drew.
  11. Yes. If it's a regular season game and not for a third party profit then special permission may be granted.
  12. The NKY teams are playing each other, which are both members of KHSAA.
  13. Highlands is only following rules set by KHSAA Sanctions and Bylaws. A member of KHSAA public school system cannot compete against another non-member of the KHSAA for any profit maintained by a 3rd party organization. They are following rules, people need to get off their backs. I'm sure they would play anyone anytime. To be the best you have to play the best.
  14. But yet you listed the word Scrimmage besides the main title??? They will not even keep score.
  15. UK you been hittin the hippie hay again? Remember your not supposed to drink the bong water!
  16. No one has been quitting the team due to individual player attention or summer camps! A couple of non-starting transfers due to parent relocation. To assume that players are quitting the program based on your suggestions is absolutely crazy.
  17. No problem bjaynes, it was on Cincinnati.com around 2 weeks ago. Away from computer, hard to paste link from a phone. It will be archived. Mainly a Cincy high school article.
  18. Fogle, Bir and Nussbaum is on the list for 2013 seniors this season. Only 4 from NKY made the list.
  19. Stupid........It's practice!
  20. Cameron Fogle from Conner also received an at large invitation to Oklahoma for upcoming Seniors for the Elite and TP groups.
  21. Year end and year out Colerain has one of the lowest total enrollments of all Div I Ohio schools. They are close to being Div II but are secured as a powerhouse in DI. Football numbers are huge due to great feeder system and two middle schools feeding them.
  22. Just a piece of advise....they don't throw many fade or quick outs at age 6? You could always send him to Ft Thomas, I hear they have a pretty good feeder system.
  23. The player owes them a thank you for allowing him to participate. Just because a young players participates for a feeder school does not entitle him/her a starting position on the varisty level. So in return, the player should not feel obligated to continue playing for that program if his parents have to relocate or transfer the student to another school for the "academics" of a particular program. This thread could walk a slippery slope??
  24. Mark Downs was selected to represent the Ninth Region in the KHSBCA State All Star Series on June 19-20 at Uof L. I believe each region selects two players. Not sure who the other selection is. On a related note for the KHSBCA State All Star selections for the Junior Game at Slugger Field on June 19th is Cameron Fogle from Conner, Blake Tiberi from Holy Cross and Cain from NCC. 9th region was only region with 3 selections for the junior game. Congratulation to these three pretty darn good baseball players!
  25. Wide tackle Six is a good Pee Wee defense but at the high school level it would quickly be converted to a wide 4-4 with the OLB starting at the LOS and quickly dropping back. If they don't adjust and your a spread passing attack it would make for a long quiet bus ride home for the defense.
