:thumb: I agree its going to be tuff to win the district but whoever does will be ready to make a run in the region.

HHS is going to be real good this season no doubt about it. There district is going to be very tough this year with NCC ,Newport and Dayton. I believe its a blind draw in there district and its possible they could have to play NCC and Newport to win the district and that could be tougher than people think!

Shawn Klaas (pitcher) and Travis Jones (ss) both juniors at Newport . Those two should really have breakout seasons.

If Newport plays as a team instead of individuals they will be the surprise of the ninth. I see them winning 20 games this year.I hope every team takes them as lightly as you are.

Or you could put McDaniels or Tucker from Newport in the top 10.

It was bad but NewCath is not very good either IMO. I look for NewCath to be much better next season. I dont see them making a run at state this year.

They need to play as a team and rebound better.They lost only one starter from last season team and will have alot of senior leadership.All starting five will be seniors.

From what I understand he left school and was getting his GED.He would have been a senior this school year.This kid had talent but could not figure things out. Its ashame I wish the best for him.

No he is not playing this year. I do not think he is at Newport anymore.

He hurt his back last week.What a pitching performance by Pat Klaas.It was ashame to see Newport lose this game.It would have a been a huge upset but both teams played real well.Good teams always find a way to win. Good luck Breds!

I heard he will not play because of injury.His brother Pat will pitch. That is bad luck for Newport.

The start time has been moved to 4 due to NCC graduation. Does anybody give Newport a chance?
