cchwildcat241 Posted May 18, 2009 Posted May 18, 2009 NCC has to many offensive weapons and Connor will be throwing so I'll take NCC.
KyTiger89 Posted May 18, 2009 Author Posted May 18, 2009 Should be one great game to start off the 36th District. I think Bellevue will come out swinging, and Scott is able to slow down the NCC bats. Bellevue 6 NCC 2
lOKE27 Posted May 18, 2009 Posted May 18, 2009 NCC 10-2 Wow! 10-2. I think I would respect Bellevue a little more than that! It's the district and I wouldn't go into this game thinking its going to be a cake walk. I don't have a kid on either team nor in there district. Wow! 10-2? We will see.

I was kind of thinking the same score just didn't post it earlier. No one is disrespecting the Tigers just giving opinions and NCC has always come out pretty strong in tournament play

No one is disrespecting the Tigers just giving opinions and NCC has always come out pretty strong in tournament play A lack of respect may not have been the best choice of words:isurrender:. We agree that it's our opinions. I dont have a dog in this fight, however still believe 10-2 is a bit high. I agree with you where NCC in the past has come out strong in tournament play but feel Bellevue has a good enough team to create some problems and they have been playing well too. I'd like to see a close game where both teams shine and the loser knows he left nothing on the table. Both Coaches are freinds of mine so having either one lose is a dissapointment.
GrizzlyAdams Posted May 18, 2009 Posted May 18, 2009 Good luck Tigers. Come out swingin' and pull out a win. I will be rooting on from work .
black83ss Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 Unfortunately, walks, errors and a tight strike zone (went both ways) doomed the Tigers early. NCC wins 11-6, Jimmy Scott starts for Bellevue, Mike Young came in for an inning and Tony Mayes completely shut down NCC for the last 4 innings (no runs, hits or base runners) giving Bellevue a chance to catch up. Hunter Jones goes deep (3 run homer) off of Connor in the 5th or 6th inning. Great Season for the Tigers!
