Deming Lady Devils Schedule and Starters.
Traditorem replied to Devilman's topic in KY Girls Basketball (High School)
I had heard the Carmack girl tore her ACL on the other leg during a preseason showcase?! Any truth to this? -
I actually moved to a rival school to finish high school. Traditorem is a Latin term for "one who delievers" and the word traitor is derived from it.....a bit of bad blood there.

I honestly think PC is a #8 at tops. Losing one of the better players in recent PC history it will be tough to replace a kid like Patrick.
-
Nicholas was hit pretty hard by graduation losing key players in McCarty, Workman, and Mynear. I would think that Campbell will move to SS replacing Workman but finding a replacement for Campbell at 2nd will be tough. NC will also have to find some new arms in the rotation returning IMO one seasoned player.

Bourbon County/Mason County Predictions
Traditorem replied to mcpapa's topic in KY Football (High School)
I honestly believe that Mason will win but I think Bourbon has the team to pull off the "upset" -
I see that:thumb:

The only problem is replacing a point guard like D.R. Purvis. There isn't a kid on that team that can step in and fill those shoes. -
Any word on the kid from Bath that was injuried and went to hospital?

Top 10 Players In The 10th Region Next Year?
Traditorem replied to Traditorem's topic in KY Boys Basketball (High School)
I'd have to agree with you here I've watched these kids play since they were young and both are Top 10 worthy. Campbell can shoot the lights out on any given night while at the same time grabbing 10 rebounds. He's a tough kid and with his work ethic I believe he will achieve great things. -

Top 10 Players In The 10th Region Next Year?

I'm not saying he will be a top 10 player next year but one to watch in the upcoming years is the little guard from Pendleton County. Not sure of his name but I believe he was an 8th grader last year. -

Is this the big guy??? -
The Mynear kid tore his ACL in football season has only been back since late April so he hasn't been throwing as hard as last year. Nicholas lost 4 players in the beginning 2 seniors and 2 juniors. They pulled up several younger players who did a great job stepping up. To go through what they did and have a winning season is a great accomplishment.

All the asst coach said was "He should have been already in the dugout". I believe the kid who cussed several of Bourbon fans was the umpires son. With the language this kid was using he should have sent his kid to the car:irked:

late night for the 10th region
-
Bottom of 11th tied 5 to 5

Mynear and Workman are both Seniors, Campbell is a Junior.
-
Nicholas also has that Workman kid that played for Bourbon's summer team the past few years that's a decent pitcher.

Hats off to Nicholas as well, they have had a good season despite losing 4 players at beginning of the season and the Mynear kid not coming back until middle of April from football injury. They had to pull up some younger players who did a good job stepping in. :thumb: -
Eric Gaines was his name. Transfer from Sayre
