BaseballIsLife Posted May 28, 2009 Posted May 28, 2009 Final from Scott... Murray goes the distance for the Eagles and there was a bit of drama in the 7th inning if you were in attendance as Hiller got handcuffed in CF and led Bourbon to gain a little life. Well played game on both sides.
NKYThreeFer Posted May 28, 2009 Posted May 28, 2009 Does EJ Murray pitch in every single game for Scott? (lol) Anyway, congrats to the Eagles on a huge win

Breds Fan Posted May 28, 2009 Posted May 28, 2009 Congrats to the Colonels on a great season and also congrats to the Eagles for advancing. Who else does Scott have that can pitch?
BaseballIsLife Posted May 28, 2009 Author Posted May 28, 2009 Congrats to the Colonels on a great season and also congrats to the Eagles for advancing. Who else does Scott have that can pitch? Zach Sowder and also the Campbell kid can give 3 or 4 innings a game that came from Scott County. Nick Hiller can pitch fairly well as well along with George Sparks. Plenty left in the tank for the Eagles...
grandpa1951 Posted May 28, 2009 Posted May 28, 2009 The eagles handled the pressure very well in the 7th and it was a positive they came out and won it. Bourban had them scared with those two deep hits, but Murray beared down and got the final outs. This year has proven the Eagles can handle close ones. Congrats Eagles!
Blueflyer Posted May 28, 2009 Posted May 28, 2009 Congrats Eagles on a fairly played game. The kid from Bourbon was throwing some heat and him and Murray were dualing. Scott advances and will play Nicholas Co. tonight and I'm sure the Eagles will be facing hard throwing Jordan Mynear. Eagles get through tonight without getting to deep into the staff and you guys will be set for the Championship, just make sure to take care of business tonight.

If I'm not mistaken Mynear just threw 5 innings just the other night thus I believe he is in eligible to pitch tonight according to KHSAA rules...
Blueflyer Posted May 28, 2009 Posted May 28, 2009 Mynear threw 2 innings last night which means nothing because the KHSAA rules states that 3-5 innings pitched one days rest and only throwing two he will be eligible to throw tonight.

Which bourbon pitcher are you refering to:confused:
The Bigdog Posted May 28, 2009 Posted May 28, 2009 #24. Not sure on his name. I was at the game and thought Bourbon Co. didnt take the Eagles serious. Bourbon Co. has a very good team but I dont think they are as good as they think. Their fans were very rud and about got into it with a small kid in the stands. I liked how Scott ran out on the field every inning and Bourbon Co. didnt get excited untill the 7th. I would like to also see Bourbon's Schedule and see how many of those 20+ wins actually had a winning season. If some one knows let me know.:laugh::clap::clap:
