Final. Pendleton looked good on the mound and defensively, but they didn't hit the ball well at all. Bracken had a good effort on the mound and made some good defensive plays as well. Both teams are very young in that Pendleton County has 2 Seniors and Bracken County has 0 Seniors.

I did see a crazy at bat in this game. With a runner on 1st and 2 out, the Pendleton hitter fouled the first pitch to him down the 1st baseline. The 1st baseman dropped the foul ball. The runner on 1st went to 3rd and the batter stayed at 1st as neither umpire called it a foul ball. The Pendleton Coach even entered a courtesy runner for the kid who had hit the foul ball. The umpires never noticed that the runner that hit the foul ball was on first and the runner that was on 1st went to 3rd and a new batter was at the plate. When the batter got his 2nd strike on him, he was called out by the homeplate umpire. I guess maybe the umps were as rusty as the bats were in this one.
