That Simon Kenton / Mason County game in the Lloyd Invitational was the consolation game of that tournament, Little did we know at the time that would be a preview of the State Championship game. Lloyd beat Simon Kenton in that LIT that year.

Hayley Mullins from Heritage Academy is having a good senior year. She has thrown out 8 baserunners in 10 games. Batting avg of .576 with 3 doubles, 2 triples and 2 hrs. Slugging percentage of .970

Heritage 12 Newport 7 - Heritage wins 1st game since 2014 season as they were 0 - 18 last year. Senior catcher Hayley Mullins was 5 for 5 3 runs & 3 rbi's after going 2 for 2 on Monday against Dayton with double and triple. Her sister, Junior pitcher Maddie Mullins had 9 strikeouts with only 1 walk.

33rd district is toughest district in region. They play each other in seeding play, they know each other very well, obviously you didn't read why I said if you don't have to play them (District seeding, Conference Play) then don't. They would be no reason too. In BASEBALL, you have more pitchers that pitch. You will not see 2 aces going against each other if the game has no meaning (district seeding) I know I wouldn't. Softball you usually don't have that luxury of multiple pitchers. You might be able to scout a team, but batters would not get a feel of pitcher unless there in the box. So why show your pitcher to a team if you don't have to, until you meet them in post season.

I would not want to play them until 9th region final, when top baseball teams play each other, they don't show there strength, they will not pitch there best during regular season. Fastpitch, you usually only have 1 pitcher. Why show your pitcher to the favorite in region. Just my opinion...IF I was a contender, I would not show my strengths, IF I did play them.
