Rumor has it Coach Houston will be on the Conner girls sidelines as the new JV coach.

Did Todd Resign on his own? If so, why resign from a head coaching position for a JV job?

I don't see Todd going back to HC unless changes are made, I don't think he is happy with what has gone on there.

Rumor has been circulating since end of season that he was going to be let go... This is no suprise. Which is why no one really commented.

No.I heard that from someone at Beechwood to tell you the truth. Also talked briefly with a parent from another school who heard the same thing. Contrary to popular belief, I don't think any parent from HC thinks of him enough to speak on it!

I've heard the cupboard is extremely bare with the classes coming up. How do we know he's not jumping ship before it sinks.

Todd knows a lot of what has gone on at HC, especially when he was an assistant.

I'm not sure they will even have enough to field a team. No coach, no AD and I think only 4 returning players all the way down to 6th grade! And also heard it's a possibility that two of those returners may not be attending Beechwood next year. That is a rumor and I cannot confirm, but did hear they may be moving out of district.

 

When would Beechwood make a decision whether to suspend the season? I would think they'd want an AD to be part of the hiring of a new coach and it feels like the AD hiring would take some time and then the hiring of a new coach. Feels like we are talking months before a new coach would be in place. Can a program survive with the small amount of kids they have coming back and no coach to recruit kids (within the school) to play? Also heard the schedule for next year is not kind for a struggling program.
