I am against expulsion but IMO these players should be suspended from football for one year to give them some needed time to mature. They should take whatever punishment the University hands down for inducing panic/causing a lock down. Air soft guns may not be considered deadly weapons but to another student who many never have seen one, they can sure look like the real thing.

If she was beaten that brutally, I wonder how in the world could there NOT be evidence on the defendant or in his truck? This was a very terrible tragedy and hopefully the Commonwealth has some stronger evidence forthcoming.

I'm still waiting to see how the Marilyn Manson character comes back around.

This years team will be young but they will be well prepared. Look for Koby Carlton to lead the point and they will have size in the middle with Noah McCubbin. Mason Wilson will also contribute at the guard position. There will be no doubt that every player on this team will know his role.

High school coaches will give an opportunity to a talented MS player if they can help the HS team win. That also gives the coaching staff a year or two to convince the MS student to stay for high school and continue playing. Sometimes it works and they stay, sometimes it doesn't and they transfer.

The citizens cleaned house with city council last election and I suspect the mayor will be next. There was definitely a "good old boy" network in place and the citizens got tired of it, thus, voting Martin in as Mayor. His antics have been over the top, but the city wasn't being run effectively pre-Martin either. It will be interesting to see who steps up to run. Hopefully whomever gets elected will truly do what is best for the entire city, not just a small faction of cronies.

How many varsity points did Cole score at Villa Madonna last year as an 8th grader? Wouldn't those points count towards his varsity total?

Wasn't at the game, but IMHO I find it hard to believe that the Cooper player under the basket who got the ball would take the ball out of bounds and inbound it IF it didn't go in. Most HS players I've seen would be looking at the refs to plead the case of "no basket", not contine the action by inbounding the ball. :idunno:

If, in fact, Orr didn't make a racial slur, I wonder if someone else close by did? Perhaps it was said & Orr is getting blamed because he was running his mouth the entire game? I do believe Marcus Smart heard something that he interpreted to be a racial slur. I also find it very hard to believe that Orr is apologizing & not attending the remaining games just because he said "piece of crap". IMO it was a great hustle play and block by Smart! I do think the three game suspension is appropriate. I also think Texas Tech needs to distance Mr. Orr from their program. As someone else stated previously, more will come out about him, it will just be a matter of time.

The Texas Tech AD said he felt this didn't "cross the line" ... Sounds like the Good Ol Boy network is alive and well at Texas Tech. IMO the school should revoke Orr's tickets. As far as Smart, I believe he should serve a 3 game suspension and move on.

Final from Henry County. Nice win on the road for the Gallatin County Wildcats coming off a tough loss to Carroll in the All 'A'. Congrats to Coach Jones and the team!
