I remember watching a Football game years ago. The small fast team won the first meeting. The big line on the other team was gassed. My dad commented when it got colder those big guys would not get as worn down and wouldn’t get as fatigued. He was right. They won the second meeting.

My wife could not have been happier when our kids chose not to play football. She prefers climate controlled environments. I don't mind the cold at all. I've go the gear for it so bring it on. She will be at home.

Why don't public schools 'entice' kids away from private schools when they play each other?

I had no issues with signing my kids up for the "Drug free" testing while at school. They asked if we didn't trust them. We assured them we did, but it gave them a reason to tell those applying peer pressure why they could not participate. Always loved when they brought home the airhead goodie bag.

They will need a police escort/road blockage to cross the intersection on 27 at route 10. That area has enough crashes as is. I think there will be a building on the new complex as well. not sure how big it will be and if the players would get ready there?

I was not sure if they did or if they still practiced out at Bieting. I drive by the future complex quite a bit and have never noticed the male or female soccer jocks practicing there. Not sure if there is enough field for all 3 to practice right after school?

A couple of blocks away just past the school, turn right at the stop light, just down the street. Brossart has owned the property for a few years now. The football team practices on a small area they prepped a few years ago.

They had a meeting last night. Didn't get to make it since I was celebrating my birthday (did you know it is @Randy Parker birthday month too). Hopefully they excited some more folks to help fund the new complex from the new digs they have recently added on to an renovated. The school has come a long way from the days when I was looking in high school options for my children.

Never would have guessed a Brossart Nicolas county football thread would bring in 3 new posters. Congrats to the 2 programs for creating excitement for your school.
