Welcome to BGP. Impressive title.

Thank you!

The Breds are beat up. Had 5 maybe 6 kids sitting tonight from injury. Not making excuses because tackling is a problem for sure. Having that many starters out hurts for sure.

No Starting QB for NCC. Out this week. Plus he is the punter. Back-up QB played as well as he could but obviously is not a passer and must play the whole game at Safety. Plus no Fullback/DE that played so well against CAL. And two lineman still out too.

But Conner is such a solid team. Does not turn the ball over. Quick and disciplined in blocking and route running. Bend a little against the run but not much. Took advantage of every short field NCC gave them which was a lot. Will they go deep in the 6A playoffs? No. But nothing wrong with getting every ounce of ability out of your team.

5-6 kids out hurts but it doesn’t excuse the poor tackling for the last few years. This isn’t something new, just reoccurring theme.

Pretty sure I said that above that tackling was an issue. Lots of shoulder shots and lack of wrapping up is costing them for sure. Not going to win state titles playing D that way for sure.

Conner seems to have NCC's number

2017 C-35 NCC-27

2016 C-27 NCC-14

2015 C-21 NCC-17

Had 4-5 starters out!! No qb an no Jones there stud de an fb. An still had shots to win the game.

And a really bad Dixie team beat Conner. NCC would maul Dixie.
