I once told a coach who was predicting a blow out and he didn’t want to embarrass the other team to go for a 2 point conversion early in the game. So when the time comes to get the running clock you are just kicking an extra point and not looking like you are rubbing it in at that point.

If Beechwood loses I have a shot of winning the year long NKY HS picks contest since the 2 front runners have them as their 7 point pick. I have them as my 5 point pick. Go Breds!

I figured that may be the case. It seems the pros always focus on the numbers from the combine. Hard to scout a lot of kids so thought colleges may need that type of info to sort thru the kids.

It comes down to one game. All of their picks are the same except their one point game Scott versus Lloyd. @Content1 has Scott and @MNCM has Lloyd. I'm trying to run the math to see if Beechwood, their 7 point pick (my 5 point pick), loses if there is a way I could sneak in the back door to claim my third prize of the year.

Do coaches look for stats on tackles, picks etc., or do they look at 40 yard dash, vertical leap and those type of stats? Never had a footballer in the house so not sure.

Start with his GPA and ACT scores if he is interested in playing after HS.
