I agree 100%. The behavior was definetly un-called for after the game as well. Congrats to both teams on providing a exciting a good game. I applaud the 3 or 4 older RH players for sticking it out and helping the younger players grow on the field as well. They seemed very patient.

Not a shocker really. Boyd pitched younger kids against Ashland both times this year, and Ashland pitched their best against Boyd both times. With that in mind, I would say it was expected. I know quite a few Ashland fans that felt they would be defeated.

Boyd did as good as they could asFairview just had a couple of players that Boyd could not do anything with. Congratulations to Fairview as they move on to play another day.

Morgan has a good ball team and definetly did not run up the score on Boyd. Morgan's 6th and 7th man was as good as most starters in the 16th. The one kid had some hops. Good ball team.:thumb:

Not sure exactly why you continue to make the comments about Boyd that you do, but it is getting very aggravating. Congrats to Morgan.

I understand what you guys are saying. I do know that more talent has quit then what is left, but the kids left are playing hard and hustling. I guess some kids have more talent, but arent team players, only thing I can think of. My point being, is if the Staff could have gotten the players that left to play this hard and as a team, then we would be better off, but we will take what we can get.

Boyd is not better without the Seniors that quit, but they are playing more under control now and making better decisions.

CHARCTER is not trashing some of your own county kids and blasting past coaches that have nothing to do with the program anymore, IMO. Remember, not only do the kids that quit read these posts on here, but as well your child, and the other players, reads these posts. Is that teaching them CHARACTER? I for one would love to see Boyd County get back to their status they once were, and Wooten has the kids playing hard right now, but these type of comments are not neccesary under any circumstance.

I never dreamed in my lifetime that I would see Boyd County at the bottom of the 16th Region. By the past Boyd County standards, the middle of the Region was bad, moreless the very bottom. Very sad.

By the way, the word is that the next best player at Boyd is gone now.

Not sure where this is leading, but yes himself and the Freshmen play more minutes than the Sophomores. I am not a judge to whom is better or who deserves the playing time, just stating the facts.

Hall is probably their best player, and he is still there, but Steele was a very large asset to the team. Losing Steele, Wilson and Messer were large losses.

Interesting question. I could give my opinion, but maybe someone with more insight could fill you in on the answer.
