I agree. I could tell they were very inexperienced and mostly no self confidence yet. Also was posted earlier that Wilson and Gindlesperger was not playing for Boyd. Wilson adds a good athlete on the floor and Gindlesperger is their only pure shooter, so I am sure that helped Raceland as well. Either way, it is a good win for Raceland.:thumb:

Was Wilson and Gindlesperger injured?

Did any of the 16th Region Teams win in the opening rounds? I think Ashland, East Carter, Greenup and Fairview all lost if I seen the scores correctly. We got to at least win half of the games to get some respect.

What changed for each team from last week? I watched the Boyd/Raceland game and I really felt Boyd was at least 10 pts better. Of course that was without Raceland's PG. He must be a strong player or something else really changed. Good luck to both teams the rest of the year.

I agree. Sometimes there is a reason why a team plays bad too. Maybe that the other teams defensive pressure created the problem.:thumb: Good luck to Elliott in the future, but give credit where credit is due. Elliott is as good of a team as we can expect out of the 16th Region, and we all enjoy watching them, but dont see a State Championship team. That is a large feat to accomplish.

Was this the Garnes tournament? Congratulations to the Royals. Was Manchester rated or any credentials?

Get used to it. At least some of the Juniors and Seniors got invited. There were a few of the Sophomores and Juniors left at home for the Freshmen and 8th graders to play. You figure it out.
