mcpapa Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 Final from the 16th. At least I got one right in the contest; I'm afraid it won't be many this time.
highschoolsportsfan Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 Someone told me this was the 1800th win in Ashland's History. If that is true, quite a feat!!
16thBBall Fan Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 The Hill is on a slide the last week and a half need to get it turned around in the 10 days.
ballbrain Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 Ashland was much more active and aggressive on defense tonight and it really showed. Mike Terry was impressive w/24 for the Hill
TruBlu Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 Tomcats looked sharp and you could tell wanted it very bad. Fun game to watch and thought both coaches did a good job. Very nice win and much needed!:jump:
FireMarshallBill Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 What has happened to Rose Hill? It seems they were better than this earlier in the Season, has something changed?
TruBlu Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 What has happened to Rose Hill? It seems they were better than this earlier in the Season, has something changed? Mike Terry is their only real threat. He is near impossible to contain. The others are good athletes but it has been shown several times by several teams that they can be stopped. Tomcats did a good job stopping some of their other leading scorers. If other teams do the same, RH will continue to have problems.
Royal Uncle Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 Ashland was much more active and aggressive on defense tonight and it really showed. Mike Terry was impressive w/24 for the Hill It seemed to me that only Ashland was allowed to play aggressive defense. I haven't seen any stats, but I would like to know the # of fouls called on both teams. Other than that, kudos to the Ashland kids for playing a complete game and getting a quality win.
sport09 Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 Way to go Ashland!! Good luck in the rest of the season.

Plllllleeeeeaaaaase! Fouls weren't out of whack.
Fatman Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 I don’t know if it was the ref’s or whatever that caused RH to not play defense, the fact is they didn’t play it. Ashland had too many wide open looks at the basket. The difference in the game came at the end of the second quarter when Ashland reeled off about 13 unanswered points. RH never overcame that. When they attempted to come back hitting 3’s and making some great defensive plays, Biggs shut it down with the TO. Hopefully Rose Hill learned something from this game. Congratulations to Ashland. Let's play again in few days.
