Well honestly cant say I'm surprised by this one!

So since I don't live in Mason, Bracken, Robertson, Pendleton, Harrison counties then I guess I don't enjoy watching my team play in a compettitive region year in and year out! Wow I'm glad somebody informed me that I'm not a "real" fan! Since I am not a "real" fan I'm not sure they will even let me in the Fieldhouse, are they going to be checking ID's at the door to determine if we are "real" fans because of where we live???

Yes the deal with UK is off, he decommited about a month after the Coach Cal hire.

No problem with it coming back to the Fieldhouse, It is a great atmosphere and alot of tradition. I also like the scheduling much better allows more people to attend games! Should be a great year in the 10th alot of excitement!!!!

Powell does get a pretty consistent 3 point shooter in Brewer back this year from GRC

In my honest opinion I think Coach Columbia is a great coach of fundamentals and aspects of the game, but when it comes to play calling he should probably let someone else take control of that, I recall a game 2 seasons ago where GRC had a 14 point advantage over Tates Creek with around 3 minutes left in the game and Columbia was throwing the ball, needless to say Tates Creek gets an interception and a punt return for touchdown and go on to win the game. Thats when someone needs to step in and say whoa!!!

GRC returns a lot of talent this year and the year after next, this team will probably have a label of one of the best teams to ever hit the court eventually. If all stay healthy this team will be in contention for the state title for the next couple years!

Adair really came out flat footed and never got a good pace. Grayson really crashed the boards and got a ton of second looks at the basket. Looked like Adair was asleep or just shocked by the atmosphere not sure what it was. Both teams had wonderful fan support!

I have seen BG play not sure stats for the regional tournament but earlier in the year there top scorers were DJ Ray and then there is a mixture from game to game of about 3 players. They are not very big I believe there biggest player is about 6'2" or 6'3" and he doesnt play in the post he is more of a 3 point threat. If BG is hot from behind the 3 point line and can force alot of turnovers this game could be alot closer than most think!

When I saw them in the best of best tournament earlier in the year it was #3 D.J. Ray. BG is very long and really depends on there pressure defense to succeed but I dont see them really bothering Lex Cath! Catholic by 13

Mason loses to Elliot by 15, Shelby Valley beats Elliot by 3 so logically I'll take SV by 13

Well it only took us about an hour to work out the seating in the student section but I was there on the front row cheering my team on! Congrats Mason I will be there next week good luck against SV they are a tought team represent the 10th well

Not sure but I have to say I think GRC had more fans and with that being said I'm surprised! With it being closer to Mason I would assume it to be so full of Mason fans we wouldnt be able to get in the door but I wasn't going to be denied a seat I was the 4th person in the whole arena to get my ticket scanned.

Don't worry we are here! Congrats Royals you all made one heck of a comeback! Represent the 10th well at Rupp as we all know you will! I find this hard to believe if you look at the poll from the prediction poll it was 79 in favor of Mason and 38 in favor of GRC so I'm not sure you can say that GRC was considered a heavy favorite.

Student Sections! I was down there on the GRC side and the students were only aloud to stand on one side because the BOKC staff wanted to keep the other side for either Holmes/Boone students. I know this is a good idea but for a game that starts 1 hour and 30 minutes later I think it would have been alright to allow the students on the section beside where they ended up. It was eventually resolved no thanks to staff of the BOKC the students and band director came to an agreement and the band moved back to allow the students in the front. All week long students were allowed to stand on the section beside there band but for some reason things were different tonight. If you are going to enforce something like this all week not just championship night. Other than a few piddly things the BOKC was OK.
